    Still, ain't no (decent) Gen 4 for under 50, even now, and those are hard to find. If I could, I'd be seriously looking at it. There is a HUGE gap between pricing on Gen 3 and 4.

    small oil leak

    I have an 03. My cooler lines leaked a couple years back. I also have a tiny leak somwhere around the pan gasket. Never enough to drip on the floor, but there is a tiny amount on the bottom of the AC cooler line.

    06 Coupe Dyno Results!

    As I jus posted in another thread, our Gen 3s really responde to mods like this with torque gains. I have K&N, Mopar PCM, Mopar Race exhaust, and if I even slighty get on it, the rear tires break loose. This on an 03 with PS2s.

    That's about right. Never dynoed my 03, but I have K&N, Mopar PCL, Mopar Race exhaust. I think the torque number is impressive as well. Thes Gen 3s are very strong down low.

    Best post in this entire thread. I must say, I currently own a 2003 Viper, 2013 Dart, and 2007 SRT8 Charger Superbee. The Bee and the Dart I purchased new from dealers. The American car dealer experience is what is is. Accept it, and move on.

    Few questions about viper before I order one

    It is safe (in rain and/or cold) IF you drive carefully. Dont' "get on it" or do anything stupid. THEN it would be unsafe! Snow is another story. Bottom line, as long as you have another means of transportation when you need to go somewhere, uh, less than savory, or when it snows, you'll be fine.

    The cold is not an issue, IF you are VERY careful, even with traction control. That being said, I've had a couple pucker-factor moments though.
