    When the Gen 3 was introduced 10 years ago, the inital press was 500 hhp, 500 lb feet. By the time the SAE standards were revised (more conservatively) in 2006, many Japanese cars "lost: hp, while some American cars "gained" horsepower, inclusing the Gen 3, which ended up at 510 hp, 535 lb ft...

    Just Ordered My 2013 GTS Viper...

    Congrats! My 2004 Ram 3500 was Bright White. Not sure if it's the same paint code, but when it was clean, nuttin' like it! Very hard to keep clean though. Sounds like you ordered a beautiful car.

    Numbers are WAY conservative. A Gen 3 can do 0-60 in 3.8 with modern PS2s, 3.9 on run-flats. Gen 4 3.5, so a Gen V with launch control should be able to go LOW 3s.

    Gorgeous car. Saw a Gen 4 white for sale from Fairfield Motors at Carlisle last July, and they are even hotter in person. Congrats!
