    Me too. 32,000 on my 03, and while the driver's side "may" be starting to go, I'm very careful. I don't use the auto-down feature all the way, I stop it, and then gently touch the button to lower the windows. I also leave a tiny bit of window showing at the top of the frame. So far, so good.

    Agreed. I'm same - 07 SRT8 Charger Superbee, and 03 Viper. Most have know idea or what's under the hood of either. If I had the $$ and the room, I'd already have a Hellcat on order. Oh, and a Gen 5 in my garage as well!

    Steve's 03 is one of the nicest around, and probably the best cared for. Steve is a better Viper tech than most Viper techs. Beautiful silver, with newish PS2s, and with aftermarket hardtop.

    Check the fittings on the oil cooler lines. Common Gen3/4 issue.

    Uh...Gen 3s (low mileage) are still low 40s, Gen 4s, you can't touch 'em much under 60....so a Gen 4 will cost more than a Gen 5? In what Bizzarro world?

    Depends. I had a 97 2500 V10 with the iron block (great truck, by the way) and I never called it a Viper. The SRT10 Trucks are called Viper trucks.

    Had my 2003 done last Thursday. Took my tech about 1.5 hours, and he said it wasn't near as bad as the instructions made it out to be. You cant even tell anything was taken apart on the dash.

    Well, that was much worry about nothing. Took the tech only 1.5 hours, and they said it wasn't that bad at all. And they took good care of the dash - you can't even tell anything was apart.

    I just looked at the instructions - they include photos. It looks UGLY! The entire dash is essentially coming apart, radio out, center console and shifter off. Most of the interior front is taken apart. I'm reconsidering having it done.

    As an aside, my service advisor at my dealer called me this morning. I have an appointment for tomorrow, and even he warned me that even though the recall says "two hours" it will most likely take longer! I just chuckled, and thanked him, and told him that's what I've heard! I'll update this...
