From what I've read it will not increase hp because of how well the air box was made on the 4th gen. So its all about looks really. So as free said, does it look "cooler"?
Thankfully when I bought my '04 in April someone was nice enough to have 2 amps already wired, all speakers changed out and the stock deck changed to aftermarket... I wasn't happy with that deck so put in one with Bluetooth and a JL audio 6.5" sub where the stock would go... My advise be ready...
I've noticed this on my viper recently as well. Mine seems more like a mount or something on the suspension, not something to do with the PS necessarily. I will report back when I get a chance to get under her.
It's clean I'll give him that, also has the splitter, surprised he has a reserve on it when the bid is already at 46k. That seems like a fair price IMO.
Haha, I've followed this thread since day one so of course know you weren't slamming the gears. I think that's an honest answer. Eventually I will throw gobs of money into my hood as well, but for now I just enjoy the weekend drives and beating the occasional stingray or C6 or whatever iteration...
It's been a long run and I'm glad to hear its finally over! Now no more shifting like a teenager!!! J/K. I have a question, since you really don't drive it hard why do the above listed upgrades for just normal driving. If you plan on Racing of any kind awesome, but new heads for no reason seems...
I got my 3rd gen back in April for 37k. Clean title, 35k miles and black, my favorite color. If you are willing to drive or have it shipped then you can find one for a good price. Bought mine in Wisconsin and drove it home to Albuquerque. I have put over 3k miles on it since I purchased it and...
Tablets and Android OS seems to be taking over the world, saw this the other day. Tall about the best of both worlds.... If only it'd fit

Lol. Since its alive once again what about hp. Did it improve or decrease from borla to magnaflow? I have had magnaflow on my camaro for the last 10 years and love the meaty sound.
I know I'm a little late but I've had the same issue recently. My bolts were loose as well. I tightened the bolts but a few are gone, but it was the same issue. Still makes a slight sound so I need to find a few bolts to replace the lost ones.
Free2go is absolutely correct, it took me 6 months to find the "one". There was one for sale here in town and I test drive it, was of course ecstatic about the performance, but it wasn't black... If you are willing to pay 30k-50k for a car.... Make sure its exactly what you want and how you want...
Weird. Why are they shipping it in from overseas to begin with? I would think since all the big 3 used them their would be a stockpile surplus somewhere??
Good info. I also have the roe filters on mine. I figured the tubing wouldn't make as much of a difference as the filters themselves. The cost difference was huge as well l
Looks like an axle seal to me. From what I understand pulling out the axles on these cars is some serious work... Really depends on how much you are leaking. Do you see puddles of fluid when its been parked for a few days?
