I am new to the viper nation, but did my research before joining. There is a fallout with interest in this car. Period. I love my car, and will probably buy another in the future if I ever got the chance. But times have changed, and this crazy horsepower game has exploded. Dodge has to listen...
Ellow, the alb dragway uses NHRA rules. Only safety you need since we run 13.99 or faster is a fire jacket and a Snell helmet, anything slower them 10.99 does not require anything else. Hope you make it out this year!

I must be one of those exceptions, seems I always have my foot in mine... I mean running against mustangs?? But damn. I've only got to race one stingray and had a c6 say she couldn't... Gotta get it where you can! I don't know what the scene was like here in the past... I know there was a...
Haha. I still feel like a superstar here in my viper. I get guys all the time saying "rev it!!" Or "burn 'em!!" And I think to myself... Hmmm $400 a tire for your enjoyment... Nahhhh. I do enjoy kids just standing and staring though, that's my favorite.
Wow. It's an eye opener, and awesome thought that these cars were done so well that there is a global following! Huge engine, huge power. Loved by all! :2tu: what about camaros, any classic metal of them across the pond? Challengers or chargers?
I honestly didn't know the viper had such a huge following in Europe. Is it the only American car with a cult following, or are there corvette guys, mustang guys and so on?
Lol... Sorry to hijack the thread... I sent the viper pic with the 2.0 liter statement to all my friends with 4 cylinders and had a good laugh. Ii think denniskgb hit it on the nose for me... If you got a viper you're ok with me! I'll stay out of the beef :drive:
I agree. Having a good system to hear music is important. I was just surprised of the quality possibilities from a 6 1/2 inch sub. I am happy with my setup, and I hope you are too
I had issues with no base in my vert when I got it as well, my car has no performance mods, but they went crazy ish with the audio. I have 2 amps in the trunk... I think they had an aftermarket sub enclosure at one point because the mono amp isn't hooked up to anything, the other is a 4 channel...
Lol... Well I don't know exact numbers on how much was dropped here... But we ended up with our full years quota of rain in just may... No biblical plague thankfully...
Whaaaat??? When I was shopping for my gen III I cross shopped vette's, not because I was going to actually buy one, but because I wanted to see how they compared. You could get a 2007 z06 for less then I paid for my 2004. Same ish horse power and more amenities. I still don't know if there is a...
I started with a 1995 v6 camaro in high school... Leaned why neutral dropping is not a good thing... Owned many many since... Worth mentioning would be a 1994 camaro z/28, 1995 svt cobra mustang, 1997 gst eclipse with built motor and a 20g eBay turbo, 1998 trans am ws6, 1999 f250 turbo diesel...
Manual transmission fluid change is pretty easy as well. Again I haven't done it on a viper but have done it on my 2002 z/28 which has the same transmission. There is a drain plug, let the fluid drain out, replace and feel with synthetic ATF... I used mobile one... Change at every 50k miles or...
No... Just pull the bottom hose really... There is usually a drain on the bottom of the radiator but those seem to usually brake easy... Pull the bottom hose, it's messy but will drain most fluid out... If you'd like to drain it all turn the car and run it till the thermostat opens, that will...
The brake fluid and clutch fluid can be changed simply by taking a turkey baster to the reservoirs, sucking out all the fluid and replacing it with as stated a $5 bottle of fresh brake fluid... If you want to get really in depth bleed the brakes starting at the back right caliper, back left...
Hey guys. I'm still on the hunt for air filters. Found these on roe racings sites. Any thoughts? Best priced I've seen yet.

I'm 6'2, 195. I actually would have to tip toe if my pedals were all the way adjusted against the fire wall. I drive with the seat all the way back and with the pedals brought forward for my III gen... I agree though, nobody is built the same... So what works for me won't work for the next...
Agreed... Don't think any of us got a v10 for Prius numbers... Although the hybrid motors Ferrari and Porsche are working on would be interesting on newer vipers....
