    Rear lower control arm has a gash in it, does it need to be replaced?

    The gash doesn't look deep enough to me to be a problem, how's the alignment? That's what I would have checked. As long as the cotter pin is able to still hold you are fine, if it is broken than replace it. If not sure replace it just to make sure. You can buy a whole set of cotter pins from any...

But rule of thumb when buying a salvaged or reconditioned title is it should be 25%-50% lower value than the same car with a clean title.     Didn't know that was possible... I will check. I do see where the lever should be, a metal grooved gear like thing sticking out... That's why I figured the levers themselves were missing. Are these on both sides of the seats?
