Why even buy a stick shift car if you want the computer to modulate the throttle on acceleration.
Maybe the computer can wipe my arse when I'm finished on the throne too.

What!! A 5 year old version of an outgoing Chevy model :crazy2: Indy blows:chair:
The 2013 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 will be the pace car for this year's Indianapolis 500--a fitting victory lap as the current sixth-generation Corvette heads for the end of its production run and the end of this...
Although I never experienced this window issue on either my 2005 or 2008, it appears from SRT's post that it was a known issue that was likely caused by damage from improper installation at the plant. If that were the case I can't understand why it has not been addressed. It is precisely these...
From an Autoweek story:
Dear Sergio: Your company was building cars making close to this sort of power a decade ago. Will you not apply some of that knowledge to help your American arm stomp the brassy boys from Dearborn? Did not, after all, Ol' Shel help you midwife the Viper, only to turn...
What a bunch of tools
The new GT500 (now officially at 662HP) is powered by a supercharged 6.8-liter V8 that Ford claims is the most powerful V8 production engine in the world, outgunning both the 638 hp Corvette ZR1 and upcoming SRT Viper with its measly 640 hp V10.

It's the least they could do considering how "their previous masters" screwed him over during the "consolidation"
With so many changes to the new Viper I'm a little worried that there are going to be some major issues. With a bunch of new subcontractors supplying the paintwork, block, oil pan, front cover, valve cover, exhaust manifolds and likely dozens other parts I'd be surprised if it all comes together...
Sad, but true. The Viper just doesn't have the following of the others. I'm guessing only around $150K or so:smirk: Just look at what a 98 GTS-R brings - lately they've been want to pull much over $80K. And, don't even bring up the dismal showings for super rare '92's:dunno:
I'm sure Dan will land of his feet, and hopefully soon (and still in SoCal:).
He did a full check up on my recently purchased GTS a few months before I purchased it, and to be honest that was one of the main reasons I bought it. I knew it had been gone through very professionally.
Make sure...
A tornado decimated their dealership and town last spring. They have since rebuit and are back in business again. Welcome back:headbang:

The "Track package" has the Stoptechs, stickies, and lightweight wheels, but no extra Aero. I guess Chrysler has once again killed "The Winged Warrior" ala Superbird style:(
I know the new Viper's chin is a way of incorporating aero into the front end, but it just seems a bit exagerated and "shovel-nosed" to me.
