T. Boone Pickens tried to get CA jumpstarted into Nat Gas, but was rebuked by the treehugging crowd. Saying that he was simply lining his own pockets. True, but that was not the real issue. He wanted to get all the heavy trucks and buses converted to Nat Gas as a way to keep them clean and...
Heck, there was deeper discounting on the Gen 4's when they were brand spankin' new and nothing "fresh" coming down the pipe:omg: Yeah yeah I know- "the economy and all" but they really shot themselves in the foot bigtime with the $20k employee discount program and totally screwed over the early...
No, I'm all in for "Drill Baby Drill". I just don't think ethanol is the long term solution to our energy needs. Frankly, I think we should build more nuclear power plants and have a large percentage of our transportation network run on electricity.
Why on earth do you think I'd ever want an...
Yes they get a larger subsidy, however they produce a 1000 times more product. As far as my diet goes, my ears of corn now cost a buck and everything made with high fructose corn syrup has been effected. Plus there's this-
"According to scientists in New York and California, it takes more...
You do save in a Micro scale. However, if you factor in the $3 Billion in tax subsidies offered to the ethanol industry and the increase cost to our food supply it's really costing us all ALOT more:crazy2:
That's my point too. If they plan on bringing out the new Gen V in 2013 the decision has been made, and much of the foundation work has already been done. Why not whet our appetites just a bit for a car that is over 2.5 years away, which should be plenty of time to move the existing Gen IV's :dunno:
So we Viper guys are just a fickle group evidently. Unfortunately, the world of sales revolves around marketing hype that makes people actually DESIRE something. If Dodge doesn't start to build up some demand they will fall flat if & when the new car finally arrives. 'Ring times alone will not...
With the 2010's all but sold out you would think that Dodge would feel comfortable enough to finally tease us with a some information and pictures of the next Generation.
If they plan on bringing it out as a 2012, there is surely a ton of work already completed on it. Where's the goods:dunno:
If I were a gambling man I'd bet they are offering him less than $60k on a trade, which is close to what dealers were offering me on my SSG vert a couple months ago.
Some people say it's stock even with gears and catback:confused: Also, tires and fluids combined will run him well over $2k. And we all know how often guys say MINT condition, only to find out otherwise.
Lots of variables left unanswered- like color, stripes, mods, number of owners, true condition, new tires yet, fluids changed out, etc. So the answer at this point is :dunno:
Huge congrats on your new Viper. I enjoyed owning it back in 2008, and I'm sure you will be quite happy with the car. It ran very strong and was in fantastic shape when I sold it to 01SapphireBob. Did the current owner in North Carolina send you all the parts and paperwork we discussed in our...
A "new" seller has 00091 up for sale over at the Alley, and he is claiming factory stripes and it being 1 of 7. I have called him out on it. We'll see if he responds with a picture of the window sticker:smirk:
It also appears that Baxter Dodge sold their blue and black stripe ACR recently...
That's why I asked a realistic price for my SSG($64K), and it sold in a couple of weeks. From my Real Estate background I learned to price things right, or else they sit and get "dated" or worse yet questions begin to rise as to why it's not selling(whether it's true or not).
I have a sudden feeling of deja'vu.
I'm suprised that the 0-60 time is 4.2 for the GTS-R. My new Jeep SRT8 has clocked a 4.4 verified by the built-in timer. And that's without really trying too hard.
