Even the OP had "issues" with these guys. Caveat emptor is still the best rule when buying cars at the majority of dealers. Unfortunately, once that Viper left Quick's possession, all bets are off...
Too bad it's at a dealership with a less than stellar reputation. If you do a search you will see they have pulled some crap in the past. Anyone who reads this forum would likely be a little suspect of just about anything they have for sale.
I would hope so considering California has the most Vipers out of any state in the country:omg:
It's November 30th so there should be more of the V's available at that point. I sure hope the SRT reps are kind enough to let me try it on for size:D
Did SRT do away with the lag caused by the drive by wire, or does it still feel like a Gen IV?
There has been references to "cutting the delay in half" and such, but I would like to hear from people who had enough seat time to really give a good opinion on this.
Autotrader.com is the best way to sell a car. Their site is easy to navigate and buyers can set alerts when cars they are interested in come on the market. Cars.com is also a good site.
Even though the MPG figure has not been formally announced, I remember seeing a guestimate somewhere of 12/19. That means that according to the EPA schedule(which averages city 55% & Hwy 45%) the 2013 will have a $3,700 gas guzzler tax.
at least 22.5 mpg
No tax
at least 21.5, but less...
So has any Southern California dealership stepped up to the plate yet? What about the new DC Performance?. Can a non-selling entity do warranty service like he had done in the past?
I won "Best Viper" at a large car show. It was a totally stock SSG with black stripe 'vert. Everyone thought it was an awesome and outlandish custom paint job. Get it, you won't be disappointed.
I guess I should have actually asked- will the "drive by wire" throttle delay be improved as mentioned in this thread concurrently running in the GenIV forum.

There have been numerous threads on the issue with respect to the Gen IV's, and it would be nice to know if this issued has been addressed on the Gen V's. Has there been any mention of this so far?
The $264,000 question is whether this will be fixed on the Gen V's:omg:
Both my former 2007 and current 2010 Grand Cherokee SRT8 have excellent throttle response using a similar system, so it's definitely doable!
On CNBC.com today:
Fuel efficiency of U.S. cars and light trucks will nearly double by 2025 under a standard finalized by the Obama Administration on Tuesday. American vehicles will get 54.5 miles to the gallon in the new standard that aims to save consumers at the fuel pump and cut...
The real scary part is that CAFE jumps to 55.5 MPG by 2025. Half our population will need to be riding bikes like the Chinese Communists in order to make that number.
I vote for the half that doesn't pay any Federal income tax:lmao:
The new and improved version of the SRT8 Jeeps jumped over 35% in price(and they're actually a bit slower!) :omg:
I'm sure SRT won't make the same misstep again.
Here are a couple pics of the Woodhouse 2010- I should have pulled the trigger on this baby while I had the opportunity!
