Also, there was Violet vert for sale at Tuttle Click Dodge in Irvine CA back in 2009- if you schmooze the right person you might get some info on who bought it:dunno:
There is one for sale up in Canada. When I was looking for a Gen 4 I spotted it on some random Canadian cars for sale site. Allegedly though it sustained some minor damage to the front underside when it was being taken off the transport truck. So, if you do track it down make sure to check it...
Definitely a scam- there have been numerous "way under market price" ads run on Autotrader over the last year. As stated above though, I'm don't understand just what they are trying to accomplish.
Hank, thanks for the wake up call. I found the yellow car with the new 5 spoke wheels. In respect to the Shadow Blue being on the ALMS car... in this pic I don't see much "pearl" in it at all:dunno: It's darker than GTS blue, but not quite Sapphire.

I've owned 5 Vipers so far, so I'm definitely a potential customer. What about you?
Lee, the advance exposure was not just for our club's benefit. SRT had all the magazines lined up for the reveal, and the general public learned just as much as we did with a few days.
I was hoping for a...
All the hype leading to the reveal, and now nothing for 8 weeks :dunno:
Surely the paint color samples are fixed along with the stripe patterns. Or, maybe even a dyno graph overlaid with all the other Generations.
Hey SRT, how about throwing us a bone will ya.
Yep, that's what I disliked about my Gen4. But the handling and braking are lightyears ahead though. Congrats on your new ride. Enjoy it in good health!
If you have a 4+ year old car it's already out of warranty anyway, so about 80% of the car owners out there could be screwed big time if this new gas blend proves damaging. I'm going to start paying much more attention at the pump from now on!
The EPA has our best interests in mind I'm sure. Thanks, but I'd rather spend the extra 5cents a gallon thank you very much. How long until they outlaw premium gas
When looking to fill up your tank, would you drive farther to pay more? Randy Hake's customers are doing just...
You don't seem to be familiar with the SRT8 from the sounds of it. It was never designed for off road use. It has Bilstein shocks which lower it not raise it. 20" rims with low profile on-road performance oriented Goodyear runflats. All wheel drive with no low range gearing or locking hubs, etc...
Not bragging to people, just enlightening them as to the rawness of the Viper as we know it.
Bottom line- does L/C add to the driving experience or detract from it? I say the later.
2. You forget to mention that by taking the driver out of the equation that there will be fewer human errors- Frankly, I don't want to be taken out of the equation.
There's a quote I read from the Grailkeeper that I always find amusing. "The Viper comes with traction control. Your left and...
Since when did the Gooberment require launch control?
As a long time Viper owner I still get a kick out of telling supposed car people that my Viper doesn't have a computer making all the decisions for me. They just look at me kind of slack jawed and say "wow, but how can that be?":smirk:
I say poser, because L/C relieves the driver from most of his duties. To me, launch control takes away the joy of having to finess a good launch. It's darn near an automatic when you simply stomp on the gas, pop the clutch and get going with no effort from your right foot. Heck, even doing a...
Exactly.
Who is this feature designed for then? The new demographic- 60 year old street racing Fast 'N Furious wannabes.
Did anybody ask for this feature at any of the SRT input events:dunno:
For the love of G*d, why did they put this on:dunno: Does the world really need another Nissan GTR?
If I want a perfect launch, I'd better damn well earn it:drive:
