Well, if given the option of having my car designated a 2013 and receiving it in June (hopefully) or a 2014 with a fall delivery date..I would take the 2013. Don't want a fall delivery just in time for winterizing the car. P.S. I guess it doesn't matter if you live in warm climate region
not to add insult to injury but I have been in 'final inspection' for 2 full weeks and no one can even give me an estimated delivery date!!! f'n still!!! this whole ordering experience has been horrible!
Personally I cant imagine ordering another Viper with the dreary, mundane ordinary black interior. when I get in my Gen IV it is boring as hell to sit in. The first option on my Gen V was the red two-tone interior.
shipping status for a week!! I am in friggin final inspection for a week. guess I wont have it by memorial day weekend. If you would have told me that when I ordered the car way back in Nov that I wouldn't have it by JUNE I would never have believed it!!
does shipping mean it HAS shipped or it has been cleared for shipping and you must wait until a transport vehicle is ready to go to your area. I heard the transport needs to carry a minimum of 4 cars and if your area doesn't have that many deliveries it waits until you do. Can anyone confirm this??
not to hijack the thread, but is the seat rail the same used in the Gen III and IV? if so, I was told the gateway module has been removed and that nothing resides underneath the drivers seat. Wonder if the previous seat lowering kits work on the Gen V?
kratedisease, unfortunately sports car manufactures build cars to suit the average male height in the us, around 5'10". this is to fit comfortably. and that is the key word here...comfortably. Can I fit inside the Gallardo (I am 6'3" 220lbs) sure I can, but have to slide way down and tilt...
