    After what seemed like ages in D1 status and with a full Vin #, I just checked Chrysler VOTS website and I am in frame status. I guess this is good news. Not getting hopes up too high with a delivery date considering I was in D1 status for 5 months. but at least there is progress.

    cant wait to see the dealers in a about a year or so when Gen V's are sitting on their lots.....AND Believe Me...gen V's will be sitting on dealer lots next year!

    thanks for the kind words. just got off the phone with my dealer, he is just as aggravated as me. he has no clue what is going on. he said he cant blame me for wanting my deposit back. I will give it one more week for an update. I have a great deal on another car I don't want to slip away.

    the F430 is black with red interior. only 2k miles..gorgeous car. I still want to wait for the GenV. I guess it is just frustration setting in. I would at least want an answer as to why there is the delay. I knew I shouldn't have gotten the red seat belts. imagine if that is what is holding up...

    spoke to my dealer today and he 'says' he reached out to someone at plant and THEY don't even have info for him..very discouraging
