Engine break-in
Just bought a 2005 SRT 10. Book says 500 miles for break-in, the Viper tech at the dealer tells me that the car will be kinda sluggish until the engine sets in and that at a couple of thousand miles to "hold on". 3.55 gears do I need a complete rebuild kit?
Just bought a 2005 and have been reading alot about the 3.55 setup. The Viper tech here in SLC tells me that after the engine sets in all I will be doing is burning tires with the 3.55 setup, he says he's done a bunch, and recommends sticking with the 3.07. I CRASHED MY 04 VIPER
A guy on viper alley replied to my post on 2003 vs 2004 or 2005 with the diffs on those years. He mentioned a carrier pin problem in the 2004 that could shear and had wrecked a few cars already and recommended getting it changed if/when you upgrade to 3.55 rear end. That sounds like your...- Herc
