ViperSmith......good point but if dealers are marking up their cars.......few are going to buy them. Most of us are going to go with the Viper dealers we know and trust. Even though it may be peanuts, overall to maintain SRT techs (and keep current ) is, over time, going to be expensive. So a...
Look at it this way.....a bunch of dealers spent money to be SRT trained and certified (25,000 dollars/dealer) and some to be SRT Viper trained. Many of these dealers are going to discover that they will not get orders for the Vipers for the markup reason or few SRT vehicle orders. Law of...
Mark......can you give me an overview of this system. Cost? I assume you can raise and lower ride height as well as softness/stiffness of ride. One other question that is not related....but is in a way....how much difference is there is the sound deadening of the GTS in comparison to the SRT...
I have used Viper Parts of America and have had great service. I would use them anytime. Look at the Viper member's site and look at the suspension of the person you are talking about. So if you had a negative experience from him, and post a complaint....... are you going to be treated the same...
Congratulations....I will never make that number. Good posts over the years for sure. As far as Mopar Boy is concerned, I am not surprised by the number of his posts.......he has to defend himself from the "RED PERIL" which may infect his mind and create an aversion to the color yellow:lmao:
How about starting a thread on pictures of the Gen Vs and the interior/exterior combinations as they arrive to the dealers? Thinking about dropping in to see you Bill in Nebrasky in April.
Congratulations SRT.
Great car, great color.......just one thing and I am not bashing the "TA" but why not call it the Track Edition......we have First Editions....Final Editions....why not stay with the theme :dunno:
I have a couple of locums (spending a year practicing traveling medicine ) opportunities in Bangor and Lewiston Maine.......what do you guy know about these places and which one is better to go work for three months during the summer ? Thanks
Depends on what you what to do with the car.
1. Weekend car or something more?
2. If you travel with the car.... trunk space may be limited with top.....that 3 piece is neat.
3. Noise
4. Have both cars if you can.....I wish I had kept my 2008 blue and white convertible in addition to my ACR
5...
Hmmmmm........five posts in 6 years......must be a all time record....just having fun with you. I am looking forward to see how so many unrelated issues and negativity in the Generation V forum sorts themselves out.
I have to agree with JoelW....SRT is really a performance division of Chrysler. Very few people are going to think that SRT is a separate car....they are upgrades of current vehicles of Chrysler and are sold in Chrysler dealerships. I had huge problems with my 1994 RT 10. Chrysler bought it...
Any future CAAP tours in April, May, or June ? Back from practicing medicine in New Zealand (just be glad you are here for now....do not know about the future with Obamacare). Returning to Hawaii for second time to work in Honolulu.....it has been in interesting taking a year out to step out of...
Frankly, I do not understand this process at all. As my previous note, I have been an avid viper owner since the beginning of the Viper journey.....not to beat a dead horse but....
1. The car is not accredited yet....according to my viper tech.
2. Bugs.....seats, brakes, tires...what else?
3...
I have opted out any consideration for buying a 2013. Here it is almost March and there are no cars delivered. I was at the unveiling in New York in April of last year and the cars were to be delivered in November or December. We still do not have the performance numbers for a production car...
I think this is a great idea. The next question would be the dues would be.....and what you get for paying the dues.....Viper magazine...what else would be meaningful in a prior owners' subscription?
I would never have a newly trained Viper tech ,who has never worked on a Viper before ,have my car to be their first Viper repair/ mechanical experience. If a dealer sells one or two vipers a year, do you think their tech is going to maintain his skills? NOT.
