Chrysler prices new Viper near $100,000, below Corvette ZR1

Emericr....I was using your post as a generalization. I look forward to seeing a picture of your car. I have been known as doctorbob on this site for years. Do not give me that " you are a doctor" comments. Mr. Ixaduece it is not about the money. If you can afford to own a Gen 2 car and...

Chrysler prices new Viper near $100,000, below Corvette ZR1

Side discussion: I have had Vipers now for almost twenty years from Gen 1 to Gen 4. I am not an expert on every little detail of the car but I have a pretty good idea. In viewing the Gen 5 posts, several things become apparent. 1. There seems to be a lot of "Enthusiasts" that have Vipers that...

Chrysler prices new Viper near $100,000, below Corvette ZR1

Well, I am keeping the ACR. Currently, will wait for an ACR GenV or just pass. The price point is now getting a little too steep.

Chrysler prices new Viper near $100,000, below Corvette ZR1

One more thing to SRT.....put it all out there.....it is SO tiring of this piece meal advertising and information. You have all the options out there but no pictures. I have not seen all the colors on a car or interior or stripes. It is almost October and ordering is starting in November so how...

Chrysler prices new Viper near $100,000, below Corvette ZR1

Billy P.......so what are the SRT version stripes going to look like? I was bemoaning the fact that I should like to see three options for the middle tail section and SRT did it. It would be nice to see the front and back of the SRT version with stripes. You can have stripes though the paint...

2013 SRT Viper GTS Launch Edition Debuts at Pebble Beach

One other thought.......why not get rid of that rear end black band and make it a body color like previous generations? Maybe there can be three options for that section....black, carbon fiber, or body color.

My personal impressions of the Gen V

B/W GTS, it is not about numbers of vipers you have owned........and by the way if you have had four vipers and joined in 12/07, why do you have only 130 posts and not a Member?

My personal impressions of the Gen V

One more point.....I bet the SRT hood will look better with stripes.

My personal impressions of the Gen V

I am picky also......I am keeping my ACR for now. I want to see the SRT hood. I would think for a "Launch" Edition....it would be balls out. It is just basic...nothing exceptional. No special detailing or stitching. I think the GTS cars are going to be better looking without stripes......and...

2013 SRT Viper GTS Launch Edition Debuts at Pebble Beach

Pass. Waiting for something different color-wise. May be the next ACR and while on that topic....Ralph why don't you do the GTS-R paint scheme on the ACRs ? I would be there in a minute.......different from the base stripe pattern.
  14. doctorbob

So, which hood do you like better?

Zentenk........on the GTSR, there are dark stripes with red edges and most likely will be the stripes we will see on the production GTS. Also if you know the Viper history, the Generation 2 cars had rear exhaust and Dodge went back to the side exhaust in 2003 with the advent of the Generation 3...

    Viper gala in New York

Bill, I think tiddy whities in Nebrasky is the full length underwear with the rear "drawer" in back!!! Start a useful thread and it only takes about two minutes for it to go south. Friday is my birthday so I will come to New York in my birthday suit and a black tie. Mopar Boy..do not forget to...

    Viper gala in New York

Ask a simple question.....and there was some questions brought up with the Arizona Club if black tie was necessary. Since Pemberton dropped in, I can see him in a chicken suit or in some Cornhusker "Go Big Red" onsombo. Since I am originally from Iowa....I guess I will have to wear what my...

    Lake Havasu trip

Life is interesting. How is the cold North? I am going to work with the Arizona Club and the Proving Grounds to do it during Rods and Relics in October 18th through the 20th. That is a Thursday though Sunday. There is great car show and maybe we can participate. There will be hundreds of...
