I'd gladly pay a fair sum for a reprint of my original window sticker as long as it was "real". There is quite a lengthy thread here called "Window Sticker Update" or something that detials the process. It doesn't seem that difficult other than convincing the dealer to spend their time on you.
Welcome! I graduated from a 1980 Omni, and a 1985 Dodge Omni GLH Turbo, and a few more inbetween. OK, there I said it. Atleast the GLH was black :2tu:
It'll be really hard finding a Gen II RT/10 with ABS for $35K but if you're connected you might... good luck!
Re: How many ACR\'s were built for each year & R they worth the extra $$
As a recent purchaser of an ACR it seemed to me like the ACR package added anywhere from zero to about $5,000 to the price of the typical non-ACR models. I believe the ACR option was a $10K package with the comfort group...
According to my measurements:
The stripes are exactly 8" wide
The distance between the two stripes is 4 13/32" putting them about 2 3/8" from centerline.
Apologies to our metric friends.
HAHA ok you can rag on the wheels but how about suggestions! No chrome please.
If I replaced these I'm really only looking at 2 wheels, Forgeline SX3R, or BBS LeMans (LM) those are some slick wheels.
Do you really think they are that ugly or are you just trying to get me to sell them to you...
Inferno,
Since I limited myself to the 2001 and 2002 model years the red and white was in the running, along with graphite and silver. One of the main reasons I didn't choose Red is my Mustang is already Rio Red, very close to the same color as a viper and I was ready for a change. As great as...
An 11 second 1/4 mile is like what 13 seconds Canadian if you do the conversion? :nono: :D
You can have fast and faster, but a sapphire and silver ACR is QUICKER :2tu:
Fadi, I agree, I'm up for a cruise, but my sub is off of a dirt road that is not maintained very well and spring rains...
PatentLaw,
You'd be surprised what you can afford with reasonably priced Real Estate. I'm not sure how much that has to do with being able to afford a Lambo, BUT the cost of living in OH and the surrounding states is seriously inexpensive.
It's been stuck in the garage since getting it about 3 weeks ago. It's killing me. I've only driven about 30mph down my street a couple of times. Here are a couple of pics. I think this should clear up any question about what color is the best/fastest. :nana: :2tu:
Thanks to everyone here...
While the color combo is alarming, I'm more concerned about the dog tied to the front clip. Does he actually pull the car or have to keep up with it? :nana:
That also has to be the first GTS i've ever seen with Gen 1 wheels.
Ditto on Sean's red coupe.
I wonder how much of this may have been affected by 1) Stock market crash of 2000 2) Post 9/11 psychological and/or financial insecurities 3) Slow sales due to a new model being released.
93Cobra,
I don't mean to hijack your thread but I think we've answered your initial question with a definite YES. I'd like to expand on your question now because I've had this on my mind as well and I think I need a project while my Viper rots in the garage during the winter.
When i moved from...
While it's possible that owners and their vehicles that were purchased at the dealer may receive additional free services or preferential treatment, I think it's highly questionable whether this dealer can refuse to service your vehicle.
I'm sure this is something that is covered in their...
As a recent purchaser...
I decided that Sapphire and Graphite (both 1 year colors I believe) were my two favorite colors, and I wanted stripes.
I also decided that I wanted to track the car occasionally and went for the ACR since it had the extras, and there wasn't that much of a premium over a...
93cobra,
For most of the last 2 years the ACRs were priced a little out of my range so I never did pursue one seriously enough to require me to investigate fully. I have seen fogs on an ACR though.
The one thing I have learned from the smart people here is to question everything about a...
I think what you're looking at are Lowenhart or Hart wheels
Website: http://www.hartwheels.co.jp Hmm. website doesn't appear to be very useful.
Notes: Produced by Hart wheels, same manufacturer as Racing Hart wheels
I noticed that on a few ACRs that i was looking at over the last 2 years before I bought mine. Instantly I questioned whether it really was an ACR or a GTS with stickers, badges, etc. That's good that you're paying attention to details.
My guess is that they were possibly added on by the...
I've got Nitto's on the front and rear of my blown Mustang. I have the NT555R drag radial on the rear and they are pretty scary when when wet so I really avoid that. I run 275/40 17's in the rear and the traction is good but even with the supercharger my Mustang is not the torquemonster that the...
