I forgot to mention, the oil's only coming out of one BOV. The driver's side. So maybe tomorrow I'll take off the hose from the turbo and intercooler hose to check for oil. Maybe it's just the driver turbo seal gone? Thanks for all the input though!
I drive the car & when I get into boost to activate blow off valves I have oil blowing on the engine from them??? Anyone have any ideas? I thought only air was supposed to be going thru them?
Glad to help! You also might want to use the Hi-temp Gasket sealer when installing. It comes in a tube. It helps keep them in place while tightening them up. :2tu:
Been there done that a few times! What a pain. The only thing I did, of course after removing the header, was to spray gasket remover on the head & header, sold at any auto parts store, let it sit ahile. Then I then start scraping off. Make sure you use the metal gaskets to replace. I went...
I should be there but have to leave right after lunch. Have a wedding to go to. The nerve of some people...getting married during such an event! :curse:
I have mine right in front of driver's seat. It doesn't get in the way. I think I bought the bracket to hold it from Roe Racing. A $10 extingusher saved my 100K+ viper. Makes sense to have one.
Well it could mean 100 x O equals all the OOOh's I get when I have the car out. Maybe it means all the horsepower I have ( 100 x 0 = O horsepower since it's a Henn. car )Or maybe the amount the car is worth $100 x O = $0.00 At any rate I'll change it, Thanks!!!
I just dropped the price drastically on my trailer from $29,995 to 25,995, NOW down to $21,995. What a beaten I'm taken but gotta sell, son's going to college! :( It's posted in the classifieds if interested.
No you definately don't want to run them on the street. Very sticky and will fling every rock & pebble onto your car. You can always dismount & resell the Hoosiers separately. :)
I just got my serial guage from Horespowerfreaks.com. After following instructions I find out after calling AEM it plugs into the OBDII port. Okay I'll put my car back together. But now I read farther and find out it only works with firmware version 1.19 & newer. Lucky me! I have version 1.1...
Price is $29,995 & it's GVWR is 12,000 lbs. More info about it & the perfect truck to haul it is in the classified section under trailer & rigs. :)
This is like a garage on wheels! Selling my trailer, it's in the classifieds. Also selling my Ford F350 Dually Powerstroke Diesel to haul it. Here's some pics!
I'd say the rear wing was not adjusted properly and caused too much downforce, kind of like dragging a parachute, so the front splitter couldn't over-compensate. The front splitter does fine when the rear is set up correctly.
I have the Autoform front/splitter combo and the Northwind Engineering wing. They keep you really planted to the track. As you can see in this video, the car is really squatting coming down the straightaway. Probably a little too much downforce but the wing is adjustable so I can lessen the...
Re: IT\'S ALIVE!!!! Custom/vented hood needed!!!
