    I have owned both. The GenIV is a big step forward. The miles don't bother me either. Mine has 36K miles and is still on the factory clutch. And I do not baby my car.

    I've seen vintage Ferraris, Astin Martins and Bugatti's covered in snow and grime on vintage car rallies and it doesn't seem to hurt the values on bit. A Viper is a car not a watercolor painting. A little water won't hurt it.

    I bought my '08 new. I just turned 35K miles this weekend. So far, the only thing was the oil cooler was seeping and was replaced under warranty. I have had no other issues. In fact, I still run the original factory clutch. Runs fast and strong. (knock on wood)
