Howard/Mike--great job once again. Howard has done a wonderful job with this event and deserves a "W" this year. What a turnout!
It was great of you guys to come from out of town for such a worthy cause. Lots of interstate miles were covered yesterday to make this happen. And, thanks to the...
Hard to believe. You all must have one off dealers so getting a truck your way is hard. It will be worth the wait. And you have a nice, long warranty. I have used up 1000 miles of mine. Good luck
I agree V10 is what separated Viper from the pact. Shelby was against it from the beginning, but the public demanded it once they read about and saw it at the shows, and Lutz, Gale et al gave the gearheads what they wanted. I have had 7 Vipers and when you pop the hood it "grabs " folks...
A couple of unscientific observations. A 2010 FE was presold on ebay for over MSRP awhile ago. Another one recently went quickly. There are only, what 500 or so 2010s (likely by design given lousy 09 sales)
If they have to nanny up (and remove the "race" heritage) the new Viper I think the...
Do they have a factory? Engine? It has to pass a zillion regs? How is it possible that it can be a 2012? I assume they mean comes out in 12 as a 13. Anyone want to buy a slightly used FE?
PS If you are going to drive the car, you might consider getting some "daily" floor mats from Jon to save your FE OE mats. He can get them done in a variety of logos and pilings (and frankly nicer than the OEs)
Congrats--what number? I have 13.
I have bought several cars from John--but he has never personally delivered one. It is great dealing with the owner.
The FE is MUCH better looking in person. When I first saw pics, I almost cancelled.
I did clear bra and Jon's flaps--they look like they...
Kenric---here is something else you will just love--the 2010 does NOT come with an owners manual--you heard right. This is to be more green (like selling a 200MPH, V10 is green!)
Read the small print on the inside of the "guide" or whatever they call it--there is a number to call to get a real...
Agree to retain the lawyer, but once he has one they should not talk to him--all communications are with his lawyer at that point. And, his lawyer must let them know that he has been retained and all communications are to be with him.
So I have found 6 of 32
Ecue
Treviso
bluviper
golfer15
Andrew
mine
We just need to hunt down 26 (maybe 25-think I know where another is ) Unfortunatly I suspect several will go to collectors who have no idea what the VCA is --even though they will get a membership.
A lot. Some when I got it and more when I took shots of it with my 92.
I am not smart enough to past here but they are in this (SRT) forum over the last 2 weeks. One was 'FE Delivery" and other was "Tribute".
423 but if there is one thing I have learned over the years VINs don't mean much as far as order (others can correct me)
As far as a plaque the other poster asks, there is a plaque on piano black center console thats says "13 of 50", but the only place the owners' name appears is on the window...
One thing you will like for sure is the 5yr/100,000 powertrain warranty--nice. Will probably take you 2 years into Gen 5 and get you past the fact that you really don't have the final Viper.
I like it a lot (lucky number 13) Already 700 miles.
I thought the color scheme was going to take getting used to, but I really like the graphite. The red bezels kind of jump out for sure. I usually don't like stone guards (flaps) but the CF ones look like they were made for FEs, and they...
As I understood it 32 FEs were to stay in the US. I have a coupe and "ecue" has a roadster.
Does anyone else here on the Forum have one or more of the remainder (delivered or undelivered)?
I would think soon. I got my FE, a couple of weeks back from Roanoke. Hopefully, you have a high allotment dealer who can get trucks full of cars as opposed to a one off who might have to wait for a truck to fill for his area. Good luck.
If they build one, and if it looks like that or similar , don't bother.
Unless the next one is a mind blowing, radical design (like it was in 92, and somewhat in 96) it will continue to be a low production vehicle that sits on dealer lots remaining unsold until $13K to $15K deep discounting...
