AC not a problem but I could not recommend a Viper as a DD. Rough ride, and gets too much attention often the wrong kind. Plus, it is as shame to have such a nice car get nicked etc in daily travel. All my cars have clear bras and my CTS-V is the DD and is a lot more nicked up than my sports...
430 is a neat car but they will make a fair amount and they will lose value like 360 and others (not as bad as Vipers. Justin Verlander belongs to our golf club here and has an Italia--true beauty befitting and MVP and Cy winner.
My 2 cents . The ZR 1 is a hell of a car and not so much a DD. Had one. They did make way too many and did not distinguish it enough.
The Gen 5 will be ridiculous/ over the top / radical or......fail. It is that simple. Dodge cannot afford a NEW Viper that sits on dealer lots like the Gen4.
I think it is great that they have all those Vipers. While that last Viper is not something I would have chosen, to each his or her own.
The most Vipers I have had at one time is 4, along with 3 GTs and some other "stuff" . I have cut back based on the fact that I simply don't have time to...
Your 92 is one of about 236 built for the US. Add in the totaled ones and you have a very rare car that compares well with many 50s and and 60s cars. Now 93 is a different story.
I think Vipers in general are going up in value. What I don't understand is how what are becoming the classics, like the 1998 GTS-R, the 92s etc seem to languish on eBay and elsewhere. Part of it is the passage of time and it may take another 20 years.
The snake is almost 20 years old and we...
There are only so many chemicals and formulations out there. I have been waxing cars for decades and like many convince myself that the latest is the greatest.
Used lots of Zaino, Meguires, $200/jar Zymol, Banana wax-- you name it.
My conclusion. Wash your car OFTEN. Use a good polish/wax and...
Oyster Point Dodge used to be good and owners were Viper guys. Not sure if still around. Pearson Dodge in Richmond has Tim Harper one of the very best.
I had retractable tops on my XLR--V and my wife's XLR. They were highly entertaining to watch operate and you kept waiting to hear the sound of glass breaking but I think because of weight etc they don't belong on a true sports car. They also tend to swallow the trunk.
A lot of folks had...

I would not buy a Viper or GT based on luggage space. The head engineer on the GT once told me that the Viper could hold a golf bag and their goal was for the GT to hold a sleeve of balls. If you really really try you can fit clothes etc in the GT behind the seats and in the front...
I have driven the ZR1 but not the Lamborghini . I have had 9 Vipers and 3 GTs. I currently have 3 Vipers and 2 GTs. IMO, there is nothing out there that looks and drives like a GT. Then again my latest purchase was another 2010 Viper vert--can't stay away.
The ZR1 is a wonderful car. My only...
Relax---I have been traveling nonstop and placed the ad when out of town and had the1 pic. I am in no hurry and Bernie will likely be selling it for me because I don't have the time to fool with it.
