Surprised that with all the comments about the production chart, no one seems to have caught the error (unless I missed a thread )
Hint-- it is in the FE section.
ST Chris is known as the patron Saint of travelers and us Catholic types (and others ) often have little St Chris medals in our cars. I am not sure when all this started St Chris envisioned 200MPH V10s . I would not, however try putting out a fire with one. As you point out, that is better left...
The Heritage was a special paint scheme in 06 to commemorate the Gulf livery cars that ran at Le Mans in the 60s. It was a $13,000 option. All GTs have held their price but none as well as the Heritage. In fact I had a really nice low mile blue GT and when this Heritage became available with 400...
Thanks much. You are correct. That is an older picture of my attached garage and has an 09 Vert and 06 coupe. Now there is a 2010 FE on the floor and 92 on top of lift both facing a CTS-V DDriver. 92 and 10 in avatar.
Here is a 26X 26 I just built for my Fords since my other garage is filled with Vipers.
I have a Rotory 4 post in the old garage and they used trusses to make this new garage plenty tall if I also add 4 posts to it.(thinking about it).
Based on the last 4 months I would say
1. Agree you...
I have always brought oil to my Viper tech. The manager gives me a hard time asking if I bring eggs and bacon to Denny's.
My Viper tech also works on my GTs. There is an expensive 2 hour change with 5/50 oil and $39 filters!
All I will say is 17 years ago when I bought my first Viper I was 37:) Back in the day, there was only a handful of posters on here, Jon B, me and a few others
There was only one forum and continuous rolling threads--some days I miss that....
Hope this helps. The Heritage, which had a $175K sticker now goes for over $200K. Drive one. Nothing wrong with Lambo but there is nothing like a GT and easier to fix. (like a Viper) Also get a Heffner or Hennessey exhaust on a GT--I have both--hard to imagine a better sound.
Sorry for the...
I have hardly driven my Graphite 2010 FE and occasionally think of selling until I realize I would have no Viper to drive since my 92 sits.
If you were to get another GT widen your garage--I had to build a second to fit 2 in one garage. (just added Heritage) Yes, a good problem....
Hope I am wrong but I just do not see a car being produced any time in 2012. Is there a plant, mule, workers. Govt regs take forever to get approved AFTER parts and car are in place---what am i missing?
Maybe this is just a lot further along than we know.
"Second half 2012" in the auto industry is not far off at all. 14 months? Is there a factory? Mule?
I don't doubt that Ralph/ Dodge have the capability to produce a fine new Viper but it is hard to see anything being produced that fast.
17 years since the first and 7 since. When Gen 3 came out I swore I would never buy one---didn't like it until saw it in person. Now 2 Gen 3s and 2 Gen 4s.
They have all been special. Had the 10 out today. Great fun.:)
I feel like I walked in halfway through this movie-missing it -anyway, I normally avoid NAPA--Michael Waltrip scares me, but I bought a case today. Thanks
Hank--the white is stock except I have a wonderful Jason Heffner Exhaust. I will likely do a pulley/tune to the white. Because of the rarity I will likely leave the Heritage stock except for a Hennessey exhaust I had on the blue.
Mike--glad this post smoked you out. I thought you had left...
Good question. I am trading the 05 and will have 2 06s. The Heritage is considered by some as the Holy Grail of the GTs--it holds much more value (though they all hold their values) The white with blue will stay--always a favorite of mine going back to my 05 Commemoritive ED Viper
Also posted another shot under driven. Added a GT to the Va/Md stable and for the new garage . Hope we can have a Richmond event and bring out the snakes and GTs.
