I felt the same way about my 98 GTS after I put on the Ballenger headers Random Tec high flow cats and Corsa 3".
It is the high flow cats that are making it so loud and raspy. Put the stock cats back on after opening the ends to 3", it will make a big difference. It will still be loud enough to...
I have a 98 GTS. I like the cam sound better than later models, I like the the more detailed design of the 17" wheels and I have forged pistons. Hope that helps.
Saw it on motorweek, at the Detroit auto show, a 500hp Viper motored motorcycle! 0 TO 60 IN 2.5sec 400mph top speed Dodge motorcycle. Dodge might build it if they can convince their lawyers. I'm sure it won't ever get built but what a ride! Check it out!
You might want to do a search about that ECU, I remember lots of posts about the Mopar ECU, I believe it was discontinued due to poor performance. The stock ECU actually worked better.
Every time my 98 GTS side window starts rattling I know the front U-channel has again slipped out and is at the bottom of the door. This U-channel is held in place by a couple of staples that eventfully rip through the vinyl U-channel (that is why the U-channel keeps slipping out, its a cheap...
Mechanics gloves are ok I used them a long time until I finally found a good pair of leather driving gloves made by OMP Racing. The model # is IBS/731 Sport, they fit well without the bulky finger tips I normally see on leather gloves.

The factory option is for an extra 35hp bringing the total to 450hp on the 911 twin turbo.

Fred,
Does your factory clutch hold the extra power or did you have to upgrade to a stronger clutch (which one)?

Okay, I'm missing something here. What is the point of having twin SCs? I remember reading that TT is designed to have a small turbo for low RPM and a big turbo for high RPM (or vise-versa.) Does the...
I know the SRT-10 is more refined than a Gen 2 Viper but how does it compare to Porsche or BMW M cars or Mercedes AMG or even Corvette? I realize these brands are much more expensive but for those who have experienced many of these models (new) how would you rate them all?
On a scale of 1-10...
The random orbit polisher that Meguiars sells is a very good unit but you can buy it at about half the price Meguiars sells it for at one of the discount tool places on the internet. It is simply the Porter Cable polisher. If you use Zaino products you do not need the polisher it is easier and...
Also 454 divided by .85 (15%) or .88 (12%) works too.

Although I would't buy Belanger Headers again due to the incessant leaking at the 2-1 flange, the stock heat shields will fit if you flatten them out. Just place the shield on the floor and step on the inside of the shield untill the curves are flat. don't flatten the left and right corners of...
I believe the F18 will also accelerate on the vertical.

-Flange joints that don't leak! I'm still trying to stop my Belangers from leaking at the two into one joint!
-50 state emissions legal
-Good heat shield
-Flex joint
-Heat coating
-Broad torque band
-Reasonable price
Come to think of it am I describing Edelbrock?
