Update on my Decel Pop, Its gone!!!! Thanks DC Performance

Well, I called DC Performance, spoke with Dan and then Chris , their tuner. They felt they could get rid of my decel pop. They were able to get rid of it on my old tune, when I was N/A. They really didnt tweak with my current Paxton Dyno tune, as A&C Performance had the A/F set pretty good...

    always competing

Of course Kurtis picks one of his best pics that a guy at our meets takes, he uses special lens to make colors look deep. And then he picks my home back yard crappy pic. lol Anyways, poll all you want, I know whenever we are out, which car gets more looks and pics taken of it. Lets just say...

You Jonny, Your part of our team now, but I gotta say, you talked the trash and never backed it up. We welcomed you to Cali and you told stories of how you would show us up. Well it hasnt hapened yet. You said your car would take ours on a roll on and we both know you were very shocked to see...

    Traction Control

Well, Dodge was smart enough to get rid of the unsafe runflats. Maybe next is traction control. These cars are very unsafe, im suprised any Vipers exist. They should all be wrecked due to the lack of safety. We should be able to mash the gas and have the car stay straight. Had traction control...

    Stoptech cross-drilled rotors

Because that price of $900 is for a "PAIR" . I kinda like to do all four when I change rotors. ;) Jon B had a deal going on slotted awhile back for about $1600 and the drilled were $1800 for a set.

    What Would you do 1st????????

Id go with a Corsa, it was my first mod. I figured a car this cool needs to sound good too. Stock sound just didnt have enough bark. Once you start getting into other mods, they domino effect into spending alot more money. If you do wheels, then you will want to lower it, etc , etc. And as...

    Dyno Results

When I had hi flow cats and ILLSMOQ had no cats, he walked me. His dyno graph made more power and torque then mine everywhere. So as loud as it is, NO cats make more power on these cars. Though Im tired of the noise and going to put 2 cats back in, even though I know Ill be losing a little power.

    Dyno Results

My car stock was same way, I dyno'd 466 rwhp with corsa and hi flow cats. But was REAL rich. I sent my computer to DC Perf. and they did a tune and it picked up 30+rwhp/rwtq thru the mid range. But you wont see all that at peak. You may pick up another 10-15 or so rwhp with a tune, but were you...

you would probably be better posting this in the NORCAL section, then more people would see it form our area.

    Stoptech cross-drilled rotors

Call Jon B at Parts Rack. The drilled cost a bit more then the slotted. If you want the look , then pay extra for drilled. If you want just the performance, go with the slotted and save a few bucks. The slotted are also supposed to work better if you track alot or are very hard on your brakes.

    Belanger problems again

Have you ever thought about just putting a thread in plug in the secondary 02 sensor holes. You can buy from Summit racing. Then just tie strap your secondary 02's up under car. I have headers ,no cats and corsa. Both ILLSMOQ, BLWNGTS and myself all have similar setups, but different headers and...

    Stoptech cross-drilled rotors

Interesting article. From what I took of that article, they dont seem to think there is a big difference between sprung or unsprung. I think there is. I used to keep up from a roll with ILLSMOQ when I had less power, but I had lighter Sidewinder wheels and he had 20" HRE's which weigh more...

    Stoptech cross-drilled rotors

I weighed the slotted ones and it was about 30lbs savings. And the car felt better in the turns up in the hills and accelerating. They are awesome rotors and well worth the money. Theres a reason they use the Stoptechs on the new ACR. And as far as question about power. I dont know how...

    Exhaust install

You can get creative and find differnt points to jack it up at. My car is low, so I usually jack from rear jack point, it lifts car high enough in front to get a jack stand under front jack point, then I find a spot in rear to jack up rear enough to get a jack stand under rear jack point, repeat...

    Exhaust install

Any exhaust shop can do it. Its even a do it yourself job if you dont like someone else touching your car. And if you have a few tools and some time. Otherwise the only known Viper shop in bay area is Valaya Racing in San Jose.

Sacramento Raceway June 14th , drag racing

Im on 19/20" PS2's. I have them set cold for street at 32. When I got to track after drving from San Jose, they were at about 38lbs hot, so I dropped them to 32 hot, then dropped to 28, 25, finally 22lbs hot and started getting 1,8/1.9 60 fts. I used to run the runflats at 25lbs hot, with 500...

Walnut Creek, CA.. Anyone in the area?

Im in San Jose, about 40+ miles away. But if you post up in Norcal section, theres probably 5-6 guys in Concord/Walnut creek area. Within 10 minutes or so of surrounding area.

Anyone using Partsrack's steel rollbar hoops and filler panel?

I looked at the autoform roll bar, very nice. But it wont pass NHRA drag race rules. They require a vert to have a 6point. Each track is different though with what you can get away with. Techically a vert cant go fster then like 13.49 without safety stuff. My track lets Verts and most any car...

    Drag Strip Times!

You'll definately make up some time just by taking it to the sweet spot of 6k rpms. Like Jon said, the Paxton really shines up high, but is no slouch down low either. When I was N/A power about 480 rwhp, Id shift hard, power shift 1-2,2-3,3-4 shifts. But with the Paxton, even though I ran it...

    Drag Strip Times!

Im on aftermarket wheels, Iforged 19/20" with Michelin PS2's 275/30/19 and 335/30/20. They are a little heavier then my stock sidewinder wheels and not the best for drag or road racing, but I wanted some bling. I also have Motons and they are set very stiff, so my car doesnt squat like it used...

I just ran on saturday, got a 11.3@129mph with a 1.9 60 ft. It was about 90 degrees out. Both our cars are capable of 10.8/10.9 on a cool day. Theres a vid to 2 of my runs in this link, if you want to compare...
