I love the GT series, but there is one major flaw with it. 97% of the cars are Japanese. I don't need 12 different versions for the NSX and Civic's in a game. Not to mention Honda's Life Step Van and a couple dozen other cars that have no place in a racing game.
I don't believe I said that fast-autos.net was the bible of automotive figures and stats. Nor did I say that any of the stats you gave were wrong. DSG2003SVT asked if any production cars had broken into the 10's, and I quoted your post because it was the last one I read on the subject. If you...
I was wondering how easy it was to tell that the car was dirty. It looked like it had been left out in a few rain storms since it's last washing. The side sills had water spots and about an inch of dust to boot.
The chrome wheels on the sapphire really stand out, and I hope I don't cost you...
Okay, I found my pictures. Sorry for the delay. I hope they help!
I took these in the evening, and it was a little cloudy, so in the last picture the car looks almost black.
Which ever mag. you were reading from has no credibility (IMO) if they say there with be a 2008 GT. The GT had a two year run that ended last year. That means no 08, and no 650hp.
The whole supercharged "super vette" is likely misinformation as well. Depending on what magazine you read...
And for the love of god can we get someone to track real build numbers for the registry? I hate the "how many of my color Viper were make in 200x" threads.
If the salesmen was honest about the conference call, and it was with a Chevy product rep. then that call had more:bs2: in it then the current and past political campaign season. Product reps. rarely know their own product (especially future), let alone a competitors.
Sure you do, and it's simple ;) . All that needs to be done is find out the addresses and phone numbers of the other 75 owners. Then you have to call or write each one and find out what their MDH numbers are. Sort those number and you have your answer!
Well that just sucks. I would gladly take a pre-production, used by magazine's Viper off their hands when they are done with it. No need to crush a perfectly good work of art. Even if it is green and "ugly".
Anyway, thanks Chris and Bruce for clearing that up.
So, with car's already rolling off the line at CAAP, does that mean delivery will start earlier then predicted? Or is this more of a color demonstration car for the masses to drool over?
