    My 97 had a reusable gasket. Be sure and get an updated windage tray (Partsrack) if you are doing your 96.

    My car made me look like an ass yesterday

    I have a 97 without the interior key switch. You should have two fob's with the car. I keep my second one under the cover of the spare tire. I have had times when a new battery did not solve the problem.

I have done it at least 50 times without a problem. It does, at least per my reading of the wiring diagram...

    Speaking of doing it yourself, does anyone have a recomendation for a good grease gun? The ones I have always used end up leaking all over the place in storage. Would like to get one that won't leak between uses. Thanks

    airbag disable question

    Pulling the fuse will disable both airbags. That's what I do when I used to take one of my baby girls for a ride.
