Vipers and the 10,000 mile threshold
Under 10k miles is for most people almost as good as new. Even if it has been beat on by the original owners, the car and engine especially are designed to handle <(some)> punishment. In reality condition is more important of course and have a Viper tech check out the car if possible...- VENOMAHOLIC

If GM purchases Chrysler would they (GM) keep Viper
I think that the Chrysler division has big potential for GM if managed right. The Pacifica and 300 models are selling and the redesign of the Stratus looks promising. Prices are falling!!! Making me rethink..
It's JMHO that it is ridiculous to price a car more because it has a hard top as opposed to a convertible. Historically it has been the opposite with most other car companies. I feel that this is more of a correction in pricing. I am not arguing that at $90k that the Viper is not a huge perf...- VENOMAHOLIC

Some other 2008 improvements I noticed...
With the higher CR, larger displacement, and improved engine airflow, I would have expected 650-700 hp easy.
