Post some pics of the work in progress?
The bad thing would be that the rattles from the dash and the seat touching the bulkhead would be even more annoying...top up of course.
I put the caps on. No problems yet, but the car is only SLIGHTLY lower. You get what you pay for. I'm happy, but the SRT looks SO much better when s l a m m e d.
You don't need platform shoes if you put the pedals all the way up! My best friend has a form of dwarfism and he can drive my SRT-10. He is 4'8" 120lbs.
Don't make fun of him, imagine his view while slow-dancing....
Re: http://www.askdrz.com/
I think Dr. Z really did drive that Pacifica into the crash wall.....and bumped his head.
OF COURSE they don't answer questions about future products! Only ones about the current line up! You know, questions we already know the answers to.
I'd have to lean towards the coupe.
Better lines and tighter feel.
My opinion only, but I do not like the attention with the top down. I know, a lot of people say just leave the top up, but I really enjoy it down in good weather. Except the people who wanna ask the same dumb questions at...
Here's a good tip to make the back look even better. Get some silver paint and add a 'stripe' down the back edge of each of the diffuser slats. All that black is really cool, but it also hides the details. If you just want to try the look, put on some silver pinstriping.
I'm in Spartanburg. Might as well be Texas, as I almost never get down to Chas. Cola sometimes. Myrtle Beach sounds like an EXCELLENT place to meet up and cruise.
This is why I don't let people borrow the snake. They think they can handle it, but newbies need practice....in the passengers seat! I have shown people the '2nd gear break loose' function on the Viper many times (wide open areas, no concrete walls) and they are always suprised at snap throttle...
Re: who\'s has used
I have Michelins (non run flats) in the front. I know, everyone says DO NOT mix tires. The car handles fine.
I know the ratio changed with the bigger tires, but like you said, I can't tell. If anything the car feels 'peppier' maybe because they weigh less than the run...
Re: who\'s has used
I think it's all the tires. The Bridgestones are 345 35's (from memory) and I was shocked at the difference between a 30 and 35 series tire. It's emormous! I didn't even think the tires would fit, but they do. The extra tire sidewall sure does fill up the wheel house gap...
Re: who\'s has used
I know I said I'd take 'after' pictures (yesterday) but we caught some of the outer edges of Alberto, so it rained all day. I was supposed to go tubing down the Green river in 90 degree sunshine......that didn't work out either! I'll try this afternoon.
Re: who\'s has used
The machined aluminum billet is probably as strong as the OE pieces, but I'm no expert. If someone knows the strength specs....chime in. I'll take some pictures this afternoon and hopefully have them up here tomorrow. I'm gonna try to take the picture in the same place as...
Re: who\'s has used
Strange. I've changed my mind.
They do seem to make the car look lower. Average people wouln't notice, but now the car doesn't have that obvious 4x4 look between the tire and fenders. I guess it took some extra time for the car to re-settle.
Yes on #5! They should put a warning going into that tunnel. If you are prone to epileptic seizures, please do not use the tunnel! It felt like I was on Fremont in Vegas.
Re: 650 hp Mclaren Viper from DC to bridge gap in 2007 goes 0 to 60 mph in
I'll take the other side (for just a minute)
-Is anyone advertising a 'new' hood or prototype here? No.
-The car has Michigan plates. This would lean me towards it being a DC prototype
- The hood is professionally...
