I'm not sure where you are located, but find your local chapter of the Viper Club.
Meet up with them for a cruise or event, and you'll be able to see more Vipers in one place than probably anywhere else! I think that is the easiest way to determine what you like and don't. Go sit in a few...
It's testosterone Wednesday...
Guys are jumping from one forum to another... Don't try to stop them :lmao:
It's pouring rain here in Cali, so cabin fever must be setting in :eater:
Magnus, I think the ACR-X just hasn't been out long enough and there aren't that many of them built. The Viper Cup series is going on right now, I would bet most people who bought an X are competing with other X's... Just a thought.

To me it's really time to...
I guess I'm not "getting" it, help me out here... by these standards the non ACR coupe is a downforce monster with only 100-150 lbs. The Ford GT comes in at 97lbs in the front... ZR1 is all lift...
I have not found a windtunnel test yet for a Viper.. I'll keep looking. I got plenty of time...
Thanks Guys for teaching "new to me stuff". I like it!
Just off the top of my head I would have thought the S7 would have been the most "slippery" American exotic..
Hey Phil, its been too long since we spoke!
I was kinda thinking of the high down force numbers that were released with the ACR... 1000lb vs the mid range average (for a viper) you are talking about without aero accessories...
How do you go from 1000lb to 6XX and feel like you...
Paul, most have said they didnt see a place or way to attach a wing. Or at least much of a wing.
Is the car supposed to make tremendous down force without aero?
I did post one of the challenges made on the Vette board to my local So Cal board... Dude wanted someone with an ACR to beat the Vette record at Spring Mountain... The time was 1:40 NARRA will be there as well as the So Cal Club, but I doubt they are gonna be running the small track LOL
This guy gets it... I totally agree with him on this...

Wow, so many personal attacks.
Let's not forget that if it weren't for the Viper, there would be no ZR1, and if it weren't for the Z06 there wouldn't be a 4th generation Viper. And...
Hi MrBob
This won't help you with your stripes... But if you send your VIN to one of the moderators you will be listed as Viper Owner instead of enthusiast...
kcobean, or
big-n-italian
Could do that for you...
Without seeing pix, if your hood is that cracked up it's probably a total.
Best thing you can do is call Jon B @ PartsRack.com! 360-837-3937
Even before taking it to the shop today, ask Jon to give you some pointers...
Yes we do have a BS smiley... :bs2:
and a meter :bsm:
as well as :needpics:
BUT Twister doesn't have a racetrack on his island... He is posting about having some fun with his friends... LOL
Welcome to the board Barry.
The guys are correct about the tires. Old tires will bite you faster than you can believe. I learned to drive my first Viper on older tires than that... LOL It was an adventure until I got them changed out.
Have the alignment checked, when you get new tires. A lb...
It's really interesting that the Dodge dealers that saw it were quoted in Orlando as saying Alfa, and not an update of the GTS :dunno:
I really wonder if its the same car shown at both places... Just doesn't make sense that a Dealer of these cars could be so far off...
