I used my V1 for the first time the day after Christmas. I took a 400 mile trip to Dallas. There were several traps on the way, and V1 worked great.

I've had USAA for about 15 years. I think they're great. They insure everything I own to include my '02GTS, '93vette, and two Toyota's. I've read the complaints on the web too--eye opening to say the least, and humbling. Therefore, I agree with the others, and recommend you shop around...
