VCA "Red Mist Viper"
Chip, like Josh (OVERBOOST) I'll still be in the Middle East as well. However, I know that Michael, Roy and several others (Paul and Scott) will participate--or considering it. Enjoy your time; wish I could be there too. All the best Jim (and Alane).
JUCD VPR, is the BP position you are interested in, a uniform 1810 or a Federal Agent 1811? I've been a Federal Agent (1811) with NCIS for 24 years, maybe I can suggest a few things...PM me when you get the chance. Thanks, jim
If you think about it, the Viper will turn 20 soon. Is anyone pursuing a book about this milestone? Liang’s book set the benchmark to be sure, but it would be nice to see a 20 year history containing concept information to final production (which I hope is still far off). Additionally, some have...
jpa99acr,
Thanks for the reply. Please PM me the number and provide any details if you don't mind. Your thoughts and or suggestions are welcome too.
Thanks again

kcobean,
If it has stripes then I'd be interested...thanks
If this is a duplication of effort, then I apologize...Premier Sports Cars Co. has a '02 FE #299, with 5K+ on the clock priced at $59,900. By the way, contained in this particular VCA section is a thread regarding Premier and purchasing cars from them. Hope this helps. jim
Bandit (John) that was my cruising crew you met last year at Bass Pro. It was a fun time. Hopefully the guys will be able to do the same this year. jim
There are several Viper owners near the Destin area to include me, unfortunately I'm overseas right now. I know most of them cruised over there this past weekend—I was envious. I'll get them in touch with you and Supraman95. The weather and other extracurricular activities are pretty good...
You may want to consider an SCT programmer once your mods are completed. In anticipation, down in the forum section under new items, etc, they are running a group buy for a ROE SCT purchase.
Good luck, jim
Group Buy On SCT Handheld Flash Programmers
Dan,
Thanks for the information. I would also like to thank you for your input on my other (SCT) thread as well. Moreover, there appears to be a growing interest in the SCT’s lately, and as such there is a lot to be gained from your experience.
Thanks again,
jim
I purchased ROE’s SCT and loaded the 93 octane tune. After some 300 miles of city and open road driving, and based on the unscientific “seat of the pants” formula, my Viper idles smoother and feels a lot quicker. IMO the mod was worth it and I’m very happy. By the way, it was easy to use—plug...
I’m interested in changing my PCM settings for my mods. Has anyone tried the new ROE SCT XCalibrator 2 PCM Flash device for 96-02Vipers? If so, what do you think of it? Additionally, I've seen the threads for the DCP re-flash, it sounds pretty good too. Interested in your experience or thoughts...
Dan, If you ever consider selling your Viper or hear of another S/B for sale, please keep me in mind. However, from the sound of your post, I'm guessing you're like me, and will never sell it--but, just in case. Thanks, jim
