    Cats Have Been Deleted (Pics)

Should be the first mod any Viper owner does, like everyone that has done it says they become different cars to drive.

    Stump the Chump

A budy of mine once had a very similar situation and ended up being all 4 injectors were stuck. The injectors were brand new RC matched and all that stuff by RC. RC admitted that sometimes if the injectors sit around for a while before being used the solution they use can cause them to...

Fried ECU, no way will 10 injectors be bad.

    Water/Meth ?'s

You can use it for now, but I would highly recommend the VP methanol mixed with water. It is the only methanol that apparently has been formulated and tested not to harm the internal workings of your engine. This is not something you need to concern yourself in the short term. But in the long...

For all you that claim your car runs 180 or 190 ALL THE TIME

My oil pressure is around 60 at idle with the car being hot, I did notice on some vipers its 40, my bet is the factory guages.

For all you that claim your car runs 180 or 190 ALL THE TIME

You are wrong. Every viper runs hot like this and its intended to do so. Your either living in cold weather, or your guage is showing wrong. Just to clarify, we are talking 95-120 weather here...

For all you that claim your car runs 180 or 190 ALL THE TIME

For those that care the mark before 250 is about 210-215, the tick to the far right of 190 but within the 3 tick range is 200. From factory viper run from 200-230 or so depending on outside temp, and what your car is doing at the time. And it is perfectly normal for the temp to be around 215.

    Shifter/ Engine Temps

Both are completely normal. There is nothing wrong with your car.

    Engine management

Most if not all of the people on here will never even consider using any of the things you are listing, and besides that you may want to remind them that each of those features co$t additional money. Quality or Reliability of the AEM? You serious? I think you are confusing tuner incompitence...

Its easy to tell, where is your ecu?

    Engine management

Oops just realized you have a gen 1, an AEM would require lots of wiring expense. An SCT or a Vec will be much easier in your case, or perhaps you can get DC to flash your ECU.

    Engine management

Get an AEM and forget everything else. Built in wide band setup, traction control, nitrous, etc, etc etc, etc.... Everything else is either a band-aid or 4x the price for no additional benefits.

    Barrett Jackson -Viper

The GTS is roughly 3500lb's, while the RT is 3380. No one said anything about being so much lighter, but 120lb's is enough to make a difference.

    Barrett Jackson -Viper

The only body structure on an RT that makes noise is the hard top roof, and while annoying its something I can live with considering the fact that it comes off the moment weather permits it. And being in So Cal my roof is on the car for maybe 1 week out of the year. The hood on the GTS is...

    Barrett Jackson -Viper

I am fairly certain that my post said if my goal was to have a track car it would be a GTS. It is irrelevant what NHRA thinks or what safety equipment the GTS has over the RT. Gen 1 RT's and Gen 2 RT's are like different cars, if you combine the two they do outnumber GTS's but that is the only...

    Barrett Jackson -Viper

For some strange reason since the GTS came out their owners seem to think that RT's will never be as good or as valuable. Not sure where this whole logic comes from but these cars at BJ seem to be telling another story. There are more GTS's on the road than RT's, which will result in RT's...

    Fuel Pump - Rt/10

Someone is doing something wrong. Are you replacing the entire intank fuel pump assembly?

    Interesting noise I heard today

My car makes that noise every time I start driving it, only does it once and sounds like a hi pitched ping. Have asked many people about it, no one seems to know exactly what it is. BTW my car has been doing it since I bought it new in 99 with 5 miles on it, so its nothing I would worry about.

    Low Voltage. AEM culprit?

The rpm issue can easily be just a tuning problem.

Corsa tips touching rear fascia opening...

Very simple to fix, its a very common issue on just about every exhaust out there. Had a friend that owned a muffler shop and he gave the the secret of the trade. Take a long bar/broom stick/etc stick it into the exhaust far as it will go, then just gently move it where you want it. Do...

    Low Voltage. AEM culprit?

Don't be afraid of AEM tech support, they are all very good at what they do and if it is a problem with the unit they will find it no problem.

    Low Voltage. AEM culprit?

Its possible I guess, but my first thought would be the alternator. Did you charge the battery in between the time you say it started showing 14 volts?

    My DIY twin turbo build..

Your fuel setup should depend on what your overall goal is. I can tell you that with the right tuning the booster pump setup like paxton uses can support about 800rwhp. Its kind of a miracle really, the factory line has sections which are no bigger than -4 but with enough fuel pressure it...
