Your right! when I bought mine I passed on a hardcore but I made the mistake of not getting nav on my ACR, because the nav radio is much better in my convert than the standard radio they gave me in the ACR.

I saw the one at Carlisle but I didn't care for it, it was alright but nothing really than a few badges, some wheels and a shifter that I didn't like either.
ACR tires are not that sticky for drag racing, but a good set of BF Goodrich drag radials should hook up good with what you are looking for and can be put on with out messing with the front tires. I have seen high hp cars run 8's with drag radials and stock suspension.
Man its really not a big deal just use a floor jack and jack up one side at a time and put a jackstand under the frame with a towel on it and lower it down and do the other side and take the wheels off. Whats the big deal?
Actually I got my 10 second run in my convertible the first day out with car, and the conditions were far from perfect on that particular day, slippery track and temps warmer than you usually run your best times at that track. You are correct though it was a track rental.
