2000 Vipers are no creampuffs
I gotta agree with the big guy here. When we did our local dyno day I don't remember a single 2000 / 2001 that pulled anything in the 400's. Compare my numbers to SloCal's. Lethargic GTS or jaded driver?

I am sincerely determined to acquire one of these competition coupes.....
You might want to also consider Autoform's Club Racer. I'm not sure what it's future is now that DC has a factory version. But it should be much easier to obtain. They have 2 options, a complete race car on a tube chasis, or you can get a wrecked Viper and they will build it up from there...- BWoodbury

Oil Change - Quickie Lube?
I take my snake to my local Oil Express. The stock the 15-50 Mobil-1 and the Mobil-1 oil filter just for me. Total cost is $78 and I get to go under the car and have a look around every time. 96 GTS Running running a little warmer than I would like.
I have the upgraded cooling fan and Sean Roe's silicone hoses on my '96. It still gets hotter than I would like once in a while, but it cools down MUCH quicker. My last step is to install the run-the-fan-even-when-the-engine-is-off setup that I got from Sean. These are all very cheap insurance...- BWoodbury

Caught In The Rain???
I took my Viper home from the dealer in the rain. And I will get up in the morning, see that it is raining, and take the Viper to work. You just have to be real, real, easy on the gas. Of course I have a GTS so I don't have to worry about leaks. Don't even think of driving the car in the snow...- BWoodbury
