    The only way to prove more power is probably to do a after and before test on the dragstrip. I did that with my "air" modifictaions, I picked up 1.5Mph in trap speed.

    Gen 1 (1994) Rt/10 Nitrous / propane / gas questions

    1) On a stock Gen 1 motor (1994 RT/10 to be exact) what kind of wet system shot (n/g/p/) is considered to be in the safe range? 150, 175, 200, or more HP ? The car has basic mods (exhaust and intake.) Otherwise, it is stock. -->The NOS system, the BTR system, the NX etc are all safe...

    The problem was in the camshaft. It was "pinned" 5.5 degrees wrong from manufacturer. So when we did the installation we had to move the sprocket one tooth to get the camshaft where we wanted it. By doing that din't the Cam sensor and the Crank sensor syncronize. I just had to do an adjustable...

    Checked the codes today...just 12, 23, 37 and the 55 code...nothing that indicates the problems I have. The Camshaft sensor was mounted about 0.025" from the Cam gear, so that was probably not the problem. The story continues...

    60' times ...

    Re: 60\' times ... Launch 4000 rpm, shift first at 5500, second and up at 5800. Stock Clutch is ok, Half shafts will probably break. 60 footers with stock engine probably 1.57-1.7 Modified 1.35 to 1.50.

    Hahaaa...the cost for calling overseas is not a problem, it only cost about 10 cents a minute. Been reading a bit more in the book, I think that the problem is my cam sensor. Since I didn't install the sensor correctly does the PCM only get information from the Crank sensor...If so does the ASD...

I have a new Cam gear installed, maybe the sensor is to far away from the Cam gear..., I just plugged it in and tightened it? I'll look...

    My plan was to go to the races tonight, but the engine only fires on two cylinders (right cylinder bank). We have spark, we have fuel, but something is wrong. The battery symbol in the dash starts to blink after I've cranked the engine about 5 seconds. The engine has been totally apart. Any help...

    Fuel pressure?

    At the moment do I use Stock Gen2 injectors. The feed is a 1/2" and the return a 3/8" line. I will also use a fuel and ignition management system.

    I have just built a new fuel system to my Viper, and need to know what pressure I should start with? 50psi? 55psi? 60psi? It's a Gen1 with large heads, cam etc etc.

    Replacing Fuel Pump

    It isn't difficult to do it your selves on a RT/10. Just follow the instructions in the service manual...no problemo. Buy a stock pump and ad a Pump A Boost from Kenne Bell, that's the easy way if you plan for minor upgrades in the future. (550-650hp)
