the rubber tubes that connect the air filter housing to the throttle bodies look very bent. they should look more like this i believe.
is the airbox jammed up?
i for one am so glad dodge is using a revised transmissions and new and original paint in the 2010 viper. otherwise, i would never be able to tell it apart from a "Final Edition" VW Beetle.
you do not need to drop the hood liner. look under the hood, under the vent, and you will see small access holes. your phillips-head screwdriver goes into those access holes to remove whatever is left of the screws. take it very slow and you dont lose the screws. a magnetic screwdriver helps...
i used to own a chevy chevette. scared the **** out of me. the thing was so small and flimsy, i always felt like a guy on a speeding mountain bike crashing into me could kill me.
i dont think a viper would do well in that show. if i remember right, last year those cars saw snow, contestants jumping in and out of their cars really fast, and some pretty knarly terrain that really only a large suv or truck could get through. remember the cars being chased around the track...

here is my guess if the viper brand continues past 2010 - there will be no 2011 vipers, just like they did in 2007. 2011 will be a year for retooling for the gen 5 cars.
we will have seen 7 years (2003 - 2010) of gen 3/4 vipers. the gen 5, 2012 car, will be a new design.
as the economy improves the prices will begin to rise again.
