I've done Pocono's several times with Gen 1 and Roe. No meth, no water.
Gave hell to Gallardo's and 430's;-)
I swap brakes before going out (pads, fluids, rotors, tires) and use race gas only. Never had a heat issue with 8lbs of boost.
I have a full prep list if you want.
Must be the ugliest interior I've ever seen on a Viper. Hideous.
Why not buy at least ORIGINAL instrument cluster and gauges?? Hey, I know the answer, to save money...
The question is.......
Where else they "save" money???
I would not touch it with 5 foot pole, Give me a Vauxhall Viva instead.
Right... I would be at this point a bit more concerned. It is VERY easy to see if original gaskets are there or not. You may not have a VIPER MECHANIC. (you may have a Dodge Mechanic...)
And that spells trouble with GEN 1.
I tell you one thing.......
The RT/10 in this color (saw one at Tator B-B-Q in 2004) is possibly best looking color combo, even better than on a GTS.
And that comes from a guy with red/white RT/10!
Stunning car!
Maybe I should start driving too? Mine's been in garage last 2 or 3 years.
Its kind of like an old girlfriend....I know where to find it, if I need it.:D
Whats the point in lower VIN and low mileage? Is that rarer than higher VIN but 100x lower lower mileage?
At least for me what matters in a 96 GTS is low mileage and CONDITION.
Mine has over 65K, so it is not rare or much of anything else.
I prefer to drive it. Thats where the value in...
I've had Team Tech 6 pointers in my Viper last 7 years. No cop has ever said anything about them and I use them always.
And believe me, I have been pulled over more than once..:D
Pretty much same damage as my 1993 went through in 2006.
My damage was 36K's worth. Looked like few K's initially, but after the hood its pretty much wasted..
Main thing is that youre ok!
Looks familiar????
