    Rear hatch unglued on my GTS, again!

    The clamps I used did not clamp it too tight, more like finger tight equivalent on a nut. As such I hardly had to clean up any adhesive from the masking tape. It's hard to differentiate the thickness between the old adhesive and new adhesive.

    Camfab, no it's not. But I've had the runaround with that adhesive from the glass professionals and from the factory. I tried really hard contacting the factory to get some technical support but pretty much got the buy-a-new-hatch routine. Same with Safelite and all the lawyer run glass...

    I think it's ass backwards. Say a non-member has a $50 item for sale and it costs him $30 to sell. So he puts it on Ebay or Craigslist instead and a potential targeted sale is now lost to the VCA. Classifieds posted by non-members should be seen as a benefit to members. -Avi 1997 Viper GTS

    Hood alignment around headlights

    The hood, bumper and headlights on the Gen IIs are infinitely adjustable. What that means is that you can shim and adjust them in quite a few positions because no two Gen IIs are exactly alike. It's a PITA. Which reminds me that I gotta do mine one of these days. I've put it off for a few years now.

    I thought bank 1 sensor 2 is driver rear! Bank 1 is the same side as cylinder 1, which is the left front cylinder. You got the wrong one!

    By that, I hope you mean that braking will work. Yes it will behave as a non-ABS car. That's the whole point of raising those faults. The microprocessors say that they cannot trust the input and will not give an output.
