    is that just the windage tray or does that include the baffles? Thanks Janni, if the 96 pan is the same as the 98 i may "borrow" your 96 so i can modify that one and then return my 98 to you..... So all i need is Joe's kit?

    hmmm ok...........you dont have a windage tray and the baffles for a 98 you want to sell laying around your garage full o' VIper parts do you? :-D I am trying to order the parts but i am on a limited budget, so if you know anyone with that stuff for sale......i'll probably have to hold off...

    Not sure, only OVal Hybrind ive been on is the rock, the rest are dedicated road courses....... So does that mean you suspect i'll have issues? ;-) Thanks for your help BTW.

    Overheated pads?

    the vibration you feel is the pad material getting SMEARED on your rotors, when the pads heat up quickly the material has a tendancy to melt slightly and leave residue on your rotors, after a couple hundred miles of driving with normal pads it should wear off...... or you can sand or resurface...

    Janni, is the oil starvation a problem for left hand sweepers or right, or both? i do plan to do the oil pan setup, but dont think I can get it done before next weekend. "the rock" road course is mostly left handed turns.....think i'll be ok?

    you are correct sir, which is why i said just a notch or two to start and dial as needed depnding on your driving style. Me, i like more a bit more oversteer than most, its hell on tires but its much more fun!! but not something I would suggest for the average track newbie.

    are you referring to where ytou rub while getting in and out of the car? You can buy a replacement back for the seat for like 400-500 bucks, seems like a lot, but in the overall big picture, its not to bad i guess!

    TarHeel Sports car club in Raleigh, NC is doing the newly reopened rockingham road course event next weekend, anyone going? go to www.timetrials.net to sign up, should prove to be fun! Cant wait to get the viper out on a nice banked turn!!!
