Quick Question guys, does the MGW "shorty" shift knob alone help? I was doing some reading on their site and they mentioned that the shorty knob alleviates alot of the issue.
I'm still going to do the B&M, but just asking.
Thanks in advance, as always.
Yeah, I was actually told by a dealer that most of these cars get wrecked in the first 24-27hrs of ownership!
I'm in the Tri-State are so I'm going to take the car up to limerock (after I get some conventional tires) and get a better feel.
Now as far as those trees that keep running across...
Thanks so much for the input. One of the best things about forums is knowledge sharing. I have never had a issue with missing shifts before and I was really bothered about it.
I had a really scary moment the day I picked the car up. Thus this thread
So very true, especially running with another car.
I'm going to get some coils and conventional tires and take this thing out on the track so I can really get a better feel for it. Its been over a week and I'm still terrified of the snake bite. I think that nervousness is also a factor in the...
Yeah, I was zipping up my "flame suit" as I finished typing the post, but I figured I had to ask.
The "thumbs down" idea is a good one, I will give it a try.
Hey guys maybe I can get a few pointers from the more experienced here.
I have missed my 3-4 shift and mistakenly buzzed 2nd gear a few times already and its NOT a good thing. I think its the slightly canted angle of the shift pattern. Anyway has anyone else ever done this and what can be...
Hey I was on Central Ave on the Yonkers / Scarsdale border in my SRT10 (red convertible) on Monday at about 7pm and I saw a silver GTS going the opposite way. Honked my horn, but just wondering if its anyone here?
Thats because of the widths and aspect ratios of the different wheels. 13 on 345 is "spec" while 10 on 285 is slightly underspec, so the tire is rolling over a bit up front and slightly bulging out back.
If you were running a 10.5" up front it would look a little more like the rear.
I agree, this car is NOT a Ferrari or Gallardo or Vette, its a more hardedged vehicle, however it really is not THAT bad. I was really surprised at how easy it is to just loaf along doing 30-70pmh, shortshifting and listening to the radio like its a Civic or something. My brothers Vette really...
I have only had mine for about 5 days, but I did drive it 900miles home so I can give SOME insight!
Handling - VERY good, even with the stiff run flat tires. The car feels planted (when the tires are warm) and grips very well. Also the ride is not bad at all considering the type of vehicle...
Thanks for the input ByDesign, really helps. I took a look at your pics in the other thread and these seem to run a little fatter than the P-Zero's but not as big as PS2's
Thanks again for the post.
Took the car out for a quick spin with my 11yr old niece earlier, I dont ever think I've seen her smile like that!
One of the most amazing things about this car has to be the rarity. I have been a official owner for about 48hrs now and I can not count the amount of people that have said "I...
I forgot to post before, please share your thoughts on the INVO's thus far. With the current 345/25-20 backorder / discontinued issue on P-Zero's alot of members have been sizing these up!
Hey guys just reporting back, I bought her home yesterday!!! What a thrill ride it is! It was sunny and about 90 degrees when I picked it up. There is NOTHING like a shiny red Viper on a sunny day! lol
I picked the car up in TN and drove it back to NY, NEVER again! The long trip put a damnper...
That was exactly what I said to him. I have some sense of decency so I only called him 2 or 3 times, I didn't want to abuse his good natured assistance. But even still I appreciated it!
I doubt it, he actually was going to get a Viper since he figured I'd flake, so now he's got his eyes on the C6 Z06. Its cool variety is the spice of life right?!
My god I have seen those posts and references, i thought it was a big JOKE! lol. You guys are hilarious, hey thats good news for me.
