I had that alarm issue with my CF hood. the hood was just way to thin and wouldn't keep the alarm button depressed. If you left the hood it up for a length of time it would bend. I got rid of it and got an 08 hood from Prescot. Fits great seems very durable..
Just wondering what causes a misfire code. I had three so far. cleared and it was fine then it came back on a week later or so. Just wondering where to look. I got the error code last night after I left the drag strip on my way home. Any thoughts on this???:(
I think we need to get down to what is really important. I have not seen any chicks with Vipers in several days. This thread is getting way to boring and the pictures do nothing for me.
One thing for sure American Racing Headers are American made by hopefully Americans. I think it's just makes more sense that we buy American products than China's. We already sold most of our mfg. to overseas companies. We all should support the American workers. True things would cost a bit...
Seems to me the add is somewhat misleading. Yet it does not say BBG series but, when wone reads ACRX race headers one would assume( that dreaded word) that it would be the real deal. As always buyer beware.
Moon can you just use a votlage meter. seems like I did that when checking the bbk and had to turn it increase the voltage. Ever heard otf that? I have a plx that hooks up to the ob11 but not sure it can read that.
I have to think your very close to that with the mods you made. I think the 3.55 gear is the biggest seat feel. The rest I think just make the car run better, cooler, etc. I had mine tuned by DC and I did ask him about an SCT but, he told me that it wouldn't do much more without being at his...
I have dynoed it but it's been quite awhile. Personally I think theres more hype to the HP thing for the sake of advertising. 15 HP there 10 here etc is not the reality of it. As for a good looking TB Xmetal is very clean and great looking but, so might be chrome valve covers. The results would...
Well first off there really is no difference. I had the stock TB the Xmetal and the BBK I really can't say there was much if any difference. I actually thought that the BBK had a bit more bottom to it but, it could have just been in my head. Nice setup though. I really think the manifold size...
Actually I have not made it down to DC yet. Things came up like a job...... Which is a good thing. I do want to go and get it tuned by a pro. He did my computer but, also Dan told me that he can get more from the motor and just make it run better. I am up for it. Maybe he would be up for a...
As a building contractor I agree. In my entire building life only one had there act together. The plans are the documents we build from. Very few of them care and most can only draw and have no concept of assembly. The engineer on this one is even worse. He won't even return a phone call for a...
I think there is a video of TrackAire running it on some back road in Vacaville. The sound is good. So take a listen or write TrackAire (George) maybe he can direct you to the link.
Summit Bracket Racing started up Saturday at Infineon. What a beautiful day in Sonoma. 85 was the high of the day. I didn't do that well a bit rusty but by the end of the day I was getting it dialed in. Actually I didn't make it past the first round. I was up against a tough dodge 17 second...
DC did my computer with 91 octane I was just wondering if there might be a slight advantage using 93 at the drag strip. I guess I will just keep running 91 it seems fine no detonation.
