Pics of my new Autoform splitter...

The nice thing about the splitter is on the track it actually works to keep the car down. As do the side splitters. I don't think VG even owns a Viper I always felt that enthusiast's should not be allowed on this site without a Vin number. Something that should be looked at I think.

Pics of my new Autoform splitter...

True it's not lower but, from the front tire to the tip is longer so going up driveways etc makes it closer to the ground. Enjoy it there cool and yours looks great. Just approach driveways and speed bumps at an angle.

Pics of my new Autoform splitter...

I had one but, tough to drive in the street and driveways. I broke it several times. Learnd to be a pretty good at fiberglass repair but, I finally gave it away. On the drag strip it actually slowed me down. I think autoforn has many great products so no bashing here I have there hardtop and...

Paddle Shifter Viper .... Race Car

I guess it really depens on your intentions with the car. Part time or full time track, Street driving, I think a paddle shift is a great option as it is proven to be the choice of many. If our thinking for drag racing buy a challenger drag pack. Anything in the low 11 seconds or 10 which I...

What does the 60 ft time mean?

Drag racing, a contest between two cars beginning from a complete stop over a distance of a 1/4 mile (1320 feet) depends heavily on first 60 feet of the race, or the launch. The technique used for launching varies greatly depending on the how the car is equipped. The type of transmission, which...

New best for my quarter mile log

Infineon drag strip does go up hill according to goole map and elevation on google map. As for tires I really only use the M&H drag radials for the strip and the to and from drive. I really don't want to dyno it again as I feel it's all irrelevant to my needs. I feel the dyno is mostly just...

    Ice??????

I was wondering what might cause ice chips to fly out of my air vents. I did notice that the day I wnet for a longer than normal ride the air seemed to work better than normal. I stopped at IN and Out for a bite to eat and when I got back in the car and started to drive again ice chips started...

New best for my quarter mile log

So many factors play into a great timed run. Track conditions play a big part. Weather also which seems strange since my best times have been in the 70 degree range. Tires I think are second. I run M&H @18psi. A good 60' time is critical but still at 1.7 sec can't get it below 11.55 1/4 @...

    Gen 5 mandated nannies

Not saying that would be the case just saying it's only a button away either way you go. I don't street race. Although I have but it became very expensive. Lesson learned.. Fortunately I live near a track. the last CHP told me drive there or nowhere. I got what he was saying. They seem to see...

    Wed Night Drags - Infineon

Wierd I run the Viper in a tee shirt just have to have long pants and a helmet to 11.5. I wonder what they were on that day. I really think the rules should open up a bit more with the cars of today. Some high HP cars that will run under 11.5 from the show room floor. Thats why I don't go...

    Wed Night Drags - Infineon

I bought a autororm hardtop and roll bar no issues but, yes they also didn't let me run with an open top. Very strict rules at that track but, I guess it's all for safety.

    Wed Night Drags - Infineon

It was a great evening. Even had a tailwind. Something you don't see to often. Greg was there in his beast and John from Sonoma ran in the MT class and did well. Greg car 900hp is so powerful that it seems nearly impossible to keep it on the ground. John had his best night so far this year...
