That's my story as well and I'm sticking to it. I couldn't be happier with the red seats and two tone Black/Red interior but it's a taste thing for sure... Ok, the color is a little obnoxious and it definitely has attitude but I guess I do too so it fits. It's an attention grabber for sure.
It's truly amazing in person... had her a month and I cant find a flaw. To your point, I installed a 3m clear bra on the entire hood and impact areas just so I can drive it without hesitation. The 3M installer who performed the installation said it was one the best paint jobs he's ever seen and...
Venom V, I installed clear bra on my entire hood and impact areas for the many track days and spirited driving days to come... I was hesitant at first but in the end was very happy with the decision. BTW it does not take away from the Stryker Red shine in any way.
I couldnt agree more. I've had most of them.. 2 Gen II's, 2 Gen III's, 1 Gen IV. IMO the new Gen V is a different driving experience and in the most positive way possible... 200 miles on her so far and if it ever stops raining around here I'll be driving her as often as possible. The ride is...
You're probably right.. between the HR peeps, attorneys and trying to be PC it probably wouldn't fly... Oh well, but the Viper is supposed to be a monster anyway.
I went with the red/black interior partly because it was the interior designers vision, what they worked so hard on. Kinda cool to have a Stryker Red in the image of the original concept. I'll probably add exterior carbon at some point. Sure, it's not a go-fast goodie, but hell, it looks bad...
I would also mention that sometimes when closing of the hatch or hood it can be a little tricky. Having done this myself 7 or 8 times, if you do not close with even pressure sometimes a gap will appear and they can be uneven. All in all the fit and finish is great. I've also had Gen II, Gen III...
I like the red interior a lot, it really stands out and the seats are really comfortable and plush. The red and black compliment each other and go very well with the dash and red stitching. Even the Stryker GTS badge on the passenger side is red and wicked cool. I look at it in the garage every...
Been driving her all day and all I can say is unfrknbelievable! In person this color is beyond sexy and I'd swear it changes colors right in front of
your eyes. Originally I was unsure about ordering the Hyper-black wheels however; in person they're deeper and richer that I imagined. All in...
The pictures haven't changed, I believe they're just clarifying. The "polished" appear to be the "polished w/ black pockets" I believe someone posted real pictures of what they look like in person. The Hyper Black are what's on the car at Woodhouse, they were also on the Stryker Red"reveal car"...
How cool is that! You SRT guys sure don't act like any other traditional car manufacturer and the passion around "our cars" is very evident. (i can say this because my Gen V is shipping very soon)...it's Great to be part of the family and something tells me this is only the beginning of many...
My VIN # is 66 it's a Stryker Red car. No special connections, luck of the draw i guess. I should also point out, it may be in trim stage, but who knows when it will be ready to ship?
Pretty exciting stuff. Make sure you visit 3-5 times a day, it seems to speed up the process. I'm not sure if you ordered a GTS or not however; that option shows up on my order as well. I think it's possibly the grand touring package which comes standard when you order the GTS. Same for me on...
I'm anxiously waiting... this will be my 6th viper but I seriously can not remember having this kind of anxiety over the others. It's well worth the wait and will be nice to see the car in person. I'm sure those around me will be happy as well, I think I'm driving everyone crazy? I'm hoping for...
My color is Stryker Red, go figure. I'm going to guess they build these things in color batches, the order seems random but as I mentioned earlier, my car was holding in frame for a week and went straight to Trim. Hard saying when it will be delivered but checking a few times a day seems to...
My car is a custom build order and the status recently changed to "Trim". Not sure about the final build date but my car changed from frame to trim in < 1 week. My car is #66
Well there appears to be some movement. My car 400066 switched to "Frame" status this week also. Hope the Ohio people taking the tour can
roll up their sleeves and push it along... it'll be one of those shiny red cars.
You may want to double check your VIN #, the one you posted above is my VIN#. Sure hope that's a mistake? My car is still in "Production scheduled" status.
Starting with February orders you can order the carbon fiber exterior option, that will help the look but it's very pricey. Wish it was available on the first batch and I'm hoping CF will be available aftermarket.
