I think it would still be a deal now. I feel like you could probably get a POS Gen III in the 30's, but not a white mamba with work done to it. I bet I could get more than I paid for it if I were to sell now.
Thanks, thats good to know. I never did anything to the interior of my corvette, so I don't really know any of the vendors for those kind of parts. Any suggestions in particular for this kind of job?
No, I mean the one with the leather stitching... this is what really irks me about buying Viper parts, it seems like none of the vendors have their act together. Is there some reason you always have to go through some backwards request to get a part that is in high demand (ex. MGW short throw?)...
I plan on doing the same thing but getting the cluster done in CF as well... hopefully it matches all the other stuff I plan on ordering. Why can I not find the console on VPA?
Why did I not do this. I just put in my Pioneer AVIC N4 and this looks so much better... an Ipad Mini would definatley fit without too much trimming I think
I Feel you. If your going lambo, you need to go all the way. Plus the Egear issues with the older gallardos (not that I would know personally, I have never owned one) sound like a nightmare. In a few years I am planning on picking up an LP640.
I had a Corvette my grandmother bought me when I was 16. I bought my own 2004 Viper when I was 19/20. I would get the "daddys car" comment all the time. My response in the Viper was "This ones mine, but my dads car cost more than your house"
From what I have found the market is very limited. I’m guessing due to the fact that there aren’t many Vipers to begin with manufacturers don’t have much of an incentive to produce parts in bulk, if at all. Performance stuff is standard cost, but if you’re looking to do cosmetic stuff some of...
Three simple questions for those of you who have replaced interior components with carbon fiber parts, specifically the bezels and gauge cluster:
1. In your opinion, is it worth the extra cost versus a wrap?
2. Do the parts crack/is there a particular vendor to go with for the best...
In my case the entire control arm went. My wheel was literally turned inward and I almost slammed into a wall... I find it hard to believe that something like that could happen from a minor pothole but it was the only possible explanation I could think of
I just thought I should say something... I have an 04 and although it may be impossible to pinpoint exactly what happened at this point, especially given there was a subsequent accident but this past october my viper was involved in a minor accident. No body work had to be done except some paint...
love the suede but personally I would go for CF over dipping the plastic- the suede with color stitching and CF combo looks similar to the LP640 interior package and is very nice.
