When you close doors, do the inside door-handle LED's stay on? They should turn off after a couple minutes when simply shutting the door and not arming alarm. Also... when you arm the alarm, you should hear a "honk" and then after like 15-20 seconds, it should "honk" again on its own and the...
Best course of action is to actually measure the current draw when ignition is off. It should be under 30mA (.03 amps). My GTS was drawing 140mA and would kill a battery in 3 days, turned out to be a faulty hood switch keeping the alarm on standby... If it takes 2 weeks to drain, then it may...
I wouldn't even mess with the factory feed-line; it's pretty tiny. I used a -10 from tank Y'd into two -8's, each of which connected into the back of the intake (there are plugs that can be removed to access the fuel passage). Then removed factory feed line and re-threaded there for a return...
As stated above, only the '03 and '04 cars have the trigger on the flywheel. The Fidanza flywheel for those cars (PN#194991) has the trigger mechanism built in, so all you do is swap flywheels and plug the sensor back in after re-installing bellhousing and transmission.
The GenII and then...
Got my "renewal" from grundy last week and it said nothing of the change... Glad I saw this, as I want to call them first to make sure I'm not sending a check to the wrong place.
Thanks for the support Jim. I have a Gen II GTS. When I picked it up, it was killing the freshly installed Sears Diehard Platinum (a re-badged Odyssey) within a couple days... I had to disconnect it to keep it alive. Others told me "you need a battery tender" but I had difficulty believing...
My red-top works fine in my GTS. But before buying one of those batteries, you MUST check the voltage. MUST BE 12.5 or greater, as once it gets 12.4 or below, they don't seem to fully take a charge again. Yellow top is another story altogether, but they don't have a "side-post only" one...
Wow... thanks for sharing that! :2tu:
The 117º installed intake centerline on a 114º lobe separation angle is quite unusual... I would've thought those numbers would be reversed.
There's a black '99 or 2000 in South Alabama with brakes and a few mods if I recall correctly. Had some miles, but was a well-maintained car and looked good in pics. I was going to look at it but stumbled upon another that was closer.

I was behind a C5 Vette this past weekend at a traffic light. Across the intersection was another C5 vette. When the light went green, the guy across the way honked and they both smiled and waved at each other.
I was completely ignored. :smirk:
I definitely can relate to the "vette"...
No kidding...almost the perfect job.

The larger Aeromotive (eliminator?) and larger Weldon pumps (2015, 2025, 2345, etc...) need the controller to "step down" voltage at cruise RPMs... but the A1000 is supposed to be fine at continuous duty. Weldon has a fairly new inline pump that would be a good replacement for the A1000...
