Yeah, I decided not to bother since I have the warranty and worse case I'd just be out investigation time money.
They looked at it this morning and confirmed it was a bad regulator. A new one is on order. :)
Hmm, a few weeks ago my passenger side window started clunking when it's nearly all the way up or nearly all the way down, as if the mechanism is slipping. Is my issue related to this or something else?
The previous owner transferred an extended factory warranty to me good through the end of...
http://www.tunedbypsi.com/ was recommended by a member and I've heard good things about them as well.
Some of their Viper dyno runs can be found here: http://www.tunedbypsi.com/dyno-archive.php?category=10%20Cylinders
Same here. After all rain gets through there and thrown up from the road when you drive in the rain, so it won't hurt it.
The only reason to block off the vents is if you don't want water spots or something under the hood, but I have bigger things to worry about. ;)
I can't comment on the installer but I can agree that the tires are awesome. Big difference over the aging OEM PS2s that I had on the car. Much better ride and less bumpy.
+1

A lot better to deal with VPoA instead of some random eBay seller.
I don't plan on modifying my car, so I spent the extra to get a Gen 4. There were a lot more changes than just under the hood: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dodge_Viper#Fourth_generation.2C_Phase_II_ZB_.282008.E2.80.932010.29
Specifically the better limited slip diff and the suspension was...
I tried both first and reverse and I think you have it backwards. The lower the gear, the better for parking.
The clutch doesn't slip, no engine light is on, and the car only have 15000 miles on it. I would think it's fine, although it is odd that it rolled on me. I swear I had it in gear...
I can see the pad and there's at probably 1/2 an inch of pad there. Certainly not worn down.
I use the hand brake every time I park so it certainly should have tightened itself by now you'd think. :(
Steeper than your average hill but nothing crazy steep. Someone was nice enough to swap spots...
Recently I parked on a decently steep hill. I pulled the hand brake all the way up, put it in gear, and let my foot off the brake only to find the car immediately started rolling quickly.
The hand break holds the car decent enough on slight hills but is pretty worthless on steeper hills.
How...
Sadly it's mostly chips -- they stay there between multiple hand washings. It's the light undercoat showing through the blue paint.
Thanks, I'll check that out!
Some of the higher ones may be dirt. I've driven it a little bit after I last washed it (no easy place to wash it at my place).
The vast majority, if not all, of the lower ones are chips though. :(
Anyway, good to know that I can wrap over the hot rocker panel without it bubbling. I may just...
Thanks. :)
If you don't remove the ring, then how do you lift the shifter cover in order to unbolt and remove the shifter?
I tried bending it but it was refusing to cooperate so I decided to just notch it. No bigger either way. :)
