Better to buy a 93-94 and get Venom 500 package or start with a 96-97 GTS w/ a Gen II
Just food for thought - for the low $50k that a Z06 costs you can pick up a 1996 GTS Coupe with low milage. Which would you rather have for your $50k?? I'll take the Viper... By the way, this reasoning has led to us owning 2 1996 Coupes!!!!- Henry Cone

97 engine in a 96 GTS?
Jamie, as Tom says, it seems like the dipsticks at your dealership got the wrong dipstick :-). Your car is clearly a 96 with a 96 engine - it's S/N puts it in about the middle of the 96 Coupe build. Fonts
