the soft top isn't bad to deal with, just don't let the first time you assemble it be when a thunderstorm is approaching.
when I bought my car it came with a hardtop. I like the hardtop but it sucks that, if I leave the house with it on, it has to stay on until I get back to the house. now...
apparently not that hard. I traded a local guy the aftermarket wheels that came with my car for a soft top.
its great to have for those days in the mountains when a surprise thunderstorm pops up.
maybe, but I already had the 2x10 boards cut and didn't feel like buying a bunch of new boards and cutting them to length and cutting the approach angles, etc. plus my wife was happy to be helping.

I forgot to thank my wife who spent a significant amount of time with the jigsaw cutting almost all of the holes to lighten the ramps.

I remember is was bolted to the car toward the back on the right side of the passenger seat. I can't get a picture of the area without removing the seat and my custom lowered seats make that hard. If I get bored this weekend I may do it...
mine had the extra seat belt. it was just a simple lap belt that was completely separate from the lap/shoulder conbination that is in the door. I don't remember anything special about it, just bolted to a hole in the floor and used the same receptacle as the lap/shoulder combination belt.
