Let's get an odometer reading from everyone

2001 RT/10 9400 miles (averaging 200 miles/month). What is a garage queen mileage-wise in your opinion? Are you going to summarize this info at some point with perhaps conclusions?

looking for a better power steering pulley

I glad this happened in your driveway . . . the gods were with you. I went the IPSCO pulley/bracket route that has a unique pulley hub that does not require a press-fit and assures the pump shaft does not shift in its bearings. Your toughest job will be removing the metal hub from your pump shaft.

    a little birdie says......

Anyone heard the rumor that the Viper engines were developed by McLaren (USA)? They developed 4 or 5 different versions of the engine that were approaching 800HP output. A version included 10 individual throttle bodies with a coil pack at each cylinder.

    Vacationing in Florida

There were 9 of us Vipers on Flagler Ave in West Palm Beach on 22Jan12. Most were from Davie area and one from Ft. Myers.

    New Barracuda....

A lot of that loyalty is because the car is basically in a class all its own (LARGE, 2-door modern American muscle with funky colors if desired!).

Roe Racing parts best value/quality for money?

Save your money for the IPSCO and simply slip on a section of tubing from Lowe's for less than a buck.

Roe Racing parts best value/quality for money?

Roe is a great asset to the Viper community, but their S/H rates are steep. Go straight to IPSCO for the PS bracket/pulley. I bought Roe's fan kit and braided brake lines. On afterthought as a cheaper/smaller alternative, you could go with something from Jeg's for the fan controller (I did on...

    New Barracuda....

Those figures don't jibe with these reflecting a plummeting love affair :eek:: http://www.challengertalk.com/forums/f5/dodge-challenger-production-totals-2008-2012-a-68401/ Otherwise as a biased Challenger owner, I agree with you. There is also a ton of info on the Barracuda at the...

Why does Ralph call it a Roadster?

They both fit the definition of a roadster (a two-seat open car). BMW refers to their Z-series that way.

Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale 2012 -Vipers on the block-

And remember the auction environment itself intices some not so rational purchase decisions . . . glad to see the $40K for the '01 nonetheless.

    Orange Crush

Impressive indeed, especially for a mere R/T owner. At least Dodge doesn't crank out more powerful engines every year like Ford--imagine being a GT500 owner with what's in store next year!

As well as the smoked rear light group and '6.1 super charged' badges on the hood. Don't say anything about the current 6.3L to him. :misch:

    Changing the Door Hinge

It's not the hinge, but the sheet spring attached to the hinge that holds the door open.
