There is always a spare key+fob pair stored in an accessible location on my Viper at all times for such moments. One of these day's I'll forget where they are I'm afraid!
I was never one to put mystery fuel additives in my tank:nono:, but last week I started using Startron based on tips from some its fairly loyal following among boaters who really have to worry about E10/E15 when no other option is available. Don't know if it works:pigsfly:, but am trying it out.
Are you sure it's not the master? Check behind the carpet for wetness. With only 22K on your car (assuming it's been babied), your friction disk has a lot of life left. I considered doing it with my 12,500 mile clutch, but chose not to based on shop recommendations.
Look for an old school muscle car shop. The T56 gearbox is a common item for such shops. Expect about 3 to 4 hours labor at up to $100/hr. The slave is around $280. Good luck.
Thank you. Initial impressions are a more compliant ride over the stock Koni's. Well known road dips that previously would jar me now are smoothed out. Will probably wind up with the damping/rebound settings closer to max when it is all said and done. I haven't driven one with Moton's, so I...
Thanks. No problems getting up the ramps because my shop was prepared with an assortment of boards (be sure to confirm this with your shop). Mine pulled out their big dog 2x12's (each 12 feet long) and a variety of 2x4s to walk it up the Hunter machine. They also had to unbolt the front wheel...
I changed the fluid when I got the car 2 years ago. However, I assume the factory fill was in there up til then. My point is you have to watch the reservoir to know when the slave is failing.
Finally done with the heavy lifting on this project with some tweaking to come as the springs settle in. :DFender arch heights are nominal 26 inches front and 28 rear sitting on 19 inch wheels/Invo's at all corners. Pretty low I would say but am able to cross the street gutter to my driveway...
OK I deserved it I guess since I don't check under the hood much between annual oil services. Was heading out to the alignment shop when I lost most of the clutch pedal. Got back home and had a flatbed take it to my shop. R&R'd the clutch slave and weeping tail piece seal and was back in...
If you've lowered your car, the ramps may not work even with the separate extended ramp attachments. That's my recent experience. Otherwise, these are great lightweight ramps (as they should be for what they cost).
I'm still adjusting mine to reduce scraping coming in my driveway at an angle. I can't imagine tackling a speed bump. I think a clearance less than a 2 inches below the lip of the front facia is troublesome. Must be mindful not to put your oil pan in harm's way. :omg: If you have to park the...
Finally have Steve Prescott's lowered coilovers on; the poor photos don't reflect my excitement to finally have this done! The pics show the out-of-the-box stance that I'm adjusting for a 26 inch rise on the fronts and 28 on the rears (measured from the floor to the fender arch). The rear is way...
Re: Forgestar F14 wheels in stock! Ready to ship. 19/19 and 19/20 for all gen Viper
Don't let the price cause you to pause . . . I smile every time I see mine with its textured gunmetal 19/19 F14's on. What a great option for the Viper!
