I've seen tires advertised as 'new' with even manufacturer stickers still on the tread. In one instance I asked for the DOT date codes and the tires were 5 years old. Always confirm 'newness' with date codes!
The most uncomfortable aspect of long Viper drives are the admirers pacing alongside long enough to shoot a pic with their cellphone . . . . . it can be distracting.

For the scant few minutes I sat in the seat it felt Sabelt-fine! But as you know it'll take miles in them to know for sure. Ralph hated the seat in the Viper as he drove from Detroit to Florida and had it swapped out at local dealer with the correct one.

Follow this man's advice. Been there myself and it works as described. Be sure to drain the overflow tank too by sucking it out through the hose connected to the radiator cap and refill through the same hose. A MityVac works great here.
